It is a joy to serve the Lord! Each week we recount our blessings of the ministry and praise the Lord for the opportunity to serve Him here in this country. Thank you so much for your support of our ministry here.
We are thrilled to be serving the Lord here in Lima with our mission team! Our team has been experiencing great victories, and we are thankful to be a small part of the teamwork. Our first church in Villa Marina, Chorrillos, recently celebrated their two-year anniversary with more than 270 people in attendance and several saved and baptized! Praise the Lord for His hand on this work and the other churches that have been planted in Surco, San Gabriel, and San Genaro. Please continue to pray for these ministries.
We are excited about what God is doing in the lives of the Christians who gather each week in San Gabriel. We have been seeing people saved each week while out soul winning and in the services. In the past two months, more than 80 people have made professions of faith in Jesus Christ! Many of these souls were won to Christ by workers who sacrifice much time to keep spreading the Gospel. One such worker is David, who trusted Christ about three months ago. He has hardly missed a service or soul winning/ visitation since and is growing in the Lord. Bro. Paul Yanez is doing a great job of discipling him.
We have several projects that we are working on. We have plans to begin a new discipleship program in our church in San Gabriel. We are also planning a Spring Program, which will begin in the next couple of months. We are also helping our Peruvian workers as they plant the new church in La Chancheria. Please pray with us that these activities will help grow God’s people and that our church would continue to be honoring to Him.
