Fisa Mihy-mihyndu Prayer Letter: Removing the Blindfold of SatanThe Bible states: “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (II Corinthians 4:4) Every human soul—rich or poor, great or small, learned or unlearned, strong or weak, old or young, male or female, black or white, healthy or diseased, able or disabled—is worth more than all the riches, pleasures, fun, and credentials of this world.
The world population is estimated at 7.7 billion people. At least 60 percent of these people have experienced great blindness, as they identify themselves as Muslims, Unaffiliated, Hindus, Buddhists, or other. Out of the remaining 30 percent, just a very small handful has received Jesus Christ alone as Saviour. Dearly beloved, the harvest is truly plenteous! Jesus steadfastly set His face to go Jerusalem (Luke 9:51). Paul said that he was debtor both to the Greeks and to the Barbarians, both to the wise and unwise (Romans 1:14). Peter and John said that they could not but to speak the things which they had seen and heard (Acts 4:20). We must follow the faith of those early Christians to reach the world with the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 13:7).

October/November

I had the joy and privilege to attend four Missions’ Conferences. I was greatly moved by the excitement, dedication, and love of those pastors and churches.

Omaha, Nebraska

While preaching at a mission rescue center, Brother John McQueen and I witnessed at least 5 souls receive Jesus Christ as Saviour. One surrendered his life to the Lord and came to church the following Sunday. At Midwestern Baptist Church, Brother Mike asked me to give a challenge to the bus kids. One kid surrendered to missions, and a few decided to get scripturally baptized. The Midwestern Church family has been under the leadership of Pastor Bentley for over 42 years. His example of faithfulness and dedication to the ministry is a scarcity today. Midwestern has such a great love for missions and missionaries. The people there were very friendly, hospitable, and loving. They spoiled us with great housing, delicious meals, care packages, gifts, etc. I am grateful for all the uplifting and encouraging conversations. They do have a dynamic group of dedicated servants of God whom I had the privilege to rub shoulders with.

Olathe, Colorado

I came across what seemed to be a 6-foot, 600-pound, brown-tailed, light-colored elk standing across the street as I drove by on my way to Olathe. Its antlers may have reached 4 feet above its head so that it towered over 9 feet tall. It was a reminder of the greatness and glory of God in creation.

Bible Baptist Church is doing a great work for God. They baptized 2 people during their Missions Sunday. Out of the 2 who were baptized, 1 got saved shortly after the morning service and baptized during the evening service. She immediately gave a call to her supervisor at work, politely requesting to have Sundays off in the future in order to go to church. Praise the Lord!

Yerington, Nevada

Pastor Montgomery, shortly after graduating from Bible college, went to Yerington to start a church. I was greatly blessed and privileged to be a part of their second Missions Conference. Harvest Baptist Church went above and beyond to accommodate all the missionary families. We had good food, great fellowship, and went soul winning in the area. I was very encouraged to see another strong, independent, fundamental Baptist church in Nevada standing strong for the cause of Christ, the Word of God, and going after lost souls.

Lemoore, California

It was a joy and delight to be an eyewitness of the hand of God upon New Testament Baptist Church of Lemoore under the leadership of Pastor King. I was moved to learn about the many salvations observed through their Jail Ministry. Pastor King not only has a deep love for his church family but also for the many souls in his community. His soul-winning efforts and testimony have earned him the respect of most people and government officials. Their treatment of all the missionaries was very outstanding and exceptional. The church has a dedicated group of soul winners. I had the privilege to see 3 precious souls trust Jesus Christ as Saviour. One was so excited about his newly found Christian faith that he kept sending a series of text messages of gratitude. Praise the Lord!

I was greatly blessed and humbled to see 14 souls receive Jesus as Saviour, 2 individuals surrender to missions, 1 saved soul begin attending an independent, fundamental Baptist church regularly, 2 souls get baptized, and other souls decide to get baptized in the near future.

Thank you very much for your faithful support and prayers. I wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas and an abundantly Happy New Year!

That all may hear everywhere,

Brother Fisa Mihy-mihyndu
