Fisa Mihy-mihyndu Prayer Letter: Regarding the Works of GodHappy New Year! I pray that the blessings of Jesus Christ be greatly multiplied in your lives, ministries, and churches as you faithfully serve the Lord Jesus Christ in 2018. Thank you very much for your faithful spiritual, physical, and financial support!

I spent the whole month of November and most of the month of December in Washington State. God allowed me to present my ministry before 15 churches and drop in at 6 other churches—I was initially only scheduled to go to 4 churches. Thank God for opening other doors! I covered a distance of a little over 3,500 miles and only had 1 car problem: I had to buy a brand-new battery in Republic, Washington. I attended 1 pastors’ fellowship, 1 men’s retreat, and 1 “Christmas Ferry” Ministry. God gave me 3 new supporting churches. Praise the Lord!

I was able to witness 9 salvations: twins (Lecyl and Ryan), a bus kid’s dad (TJ), a couple (Jose and Camilla), a former Lutheran, a church member’s nephew (Joey), and 2 new young men on the bus route (Alex and Angel). Alex was so excited about his salvation that he shared it with a family member. The following Sunday while doing bus visits, that family member told us about Alex and his joy of now being a born-again Christian. We gave him a brand-new Bible too. TJ got saved in front of his children and spouse and is interested in sharing his newfound Christian faith with his family. I was also able to meet one of Jose’s children, who has been saving some money to go to Africa one day. She now has a better focus, which is to go to Africa as a missionary. Please pray for these 9 precious souls to start growing in grace and in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Sometimes we fail to regard the works of God. God allowed me to cross paths with Pastor Brown of Yakima Bible Baptist Church who referred me to Pastor Tyree of Valley Baptist Church of Auburn for the pastors’ fellowship. At the fellowship, I was able to book two new meetings and to meet Brother Wojo, who referred me to Pastor Caster of Harvest Baptist Church of Olympia. Then Pastor Caster introduced me to Pastor Peace of Heritage Baptist Church in Tenino, who allowed me to stay at his missions apartment for nearly two months. Praise the Lord! It saved me a lot of money. Then Pastor Peace invited me to a men’s retreat, where he introduced me to other preachers who scheduled me to come present my ministry.

It is written: “I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” (Romans 1:16) I had the privilege to learn, fellowship, and go soul winning with these dedicated, sacrificial, faithful, and hardworking men of God. Truly do I count it such a great blessing and honor! While soul winning, we met a Christian couple that had been married for 65 years and serving the Lord for over 45 years together. It is very encouraging to meet people who believe, articulate, and respect God’s ordained institution of marriage between one man and one woman.

Your friend and missionary,
