Fisa Mihy-mihyndu Prayer Letter: Compelling Them to Come to JesusI count it such a great joy, privilege, and blessing to benefit daily from your relentless prayers and support to ensure not only the salvation of multitudes of souls but also their establishment in the sound doctrines of the Bible throughout the entire country of Gabon. Brother Adoniram Judson once said, “There is no success without sacrifice. If you succeed without sacrifice, it is because someone has suffered before you. If you sacrifice without success, it is because someone will succeed after you.” Of course, all successes in the ministry are always rightfully attributed to God alone. God performed greater things again this past month.

God allowed me the opportunity to see 14 precious souls hear the Gospel and receive Jesus Christ as Saviour in September. I am humbled by the power of the saving Gospel of Jesus Christ and compelled to do even more for God out of a broken heart for a lost and dying world. One day while in Denver, I met Taylor. Immediately, I dealt with his salvation and discovered that he was already born again. He had a clear and obvious love for God. I felt compelled in the Spirit to disciple him. Praise God! Taylor was able to go to Messiah Baptist Church, meet the pastor, and hear the preaching of the Word of God! He has a desire to join that church, become a soul winner, and do some missionary work here in the United States. Please pray for him.

Jesus said, “For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.” (Matthew 12:50) I thank God very much for my biological family, but I thank Him even more for my church family. My local church family, Lighthouse Baptist Church, is my brother, sister, and mother. I love my entire church family. I was greatly blessed and privileged to be there for our Missions Sunday. We always thank God for our pastor and the innumerable investments and sacrifices he has faithfully made in our lives over the years. We had a great Missions Sunday emphasis!

While in Reno, I received an emergency phone call from a Christian brother whose brother, Hernan, I’d had the privilege to lead to the Lord several months before. Hernan had attempted to commit suicide the day before. I immediately drove to their apartment for prayer and counseling. They promised to be faithful in their walk with God and church attendance. I have been sending him some lessons on spiritual warfare. Please pray for him.

I was blessed to attend a Missions Conference at Hopewell Baptist Church in Colorado. Praise the Lord for the heart and passion of Pastor Seulean and the church family there for soul winning and worldwide missions!

God blessed me with a new supporting church: Grace Baptist Church of Commerce City, Colorado—Praise the Lord!

Three kids at my home church gave cheerfully towards the Bible project. The pure Word of God is one step closer to being preached and distributed in Gabon. Praise the Lord for helping me raise $1,550 for the printing and shipping of the King James Bible in French. Bearing Precious Seed is willing to partner with me to get the Word of God to the people in Gabon. God never stops to amaze me! I am praying for you, your families, and your areas of the ministry.

That all everywhere may hear,

Brother Fisa Mihy-mihyndu
