Fisa Mihy-mihyndu Prayer Letter: Answered Prayers! The Bible states: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” (Luke 1:37) No doubt, God does innumerable things, as the sand by the seashore, that we oftentimes fail to perceive. In Psalm 68:19, God’s Word reminds us that God daily loads us with benefits. I thank you all for all your circumspect, fervent, and earnest prayers that God answered this month.

SOUL WINNING

Nearly half a century ago, a group of children discovered the body of a 24-year-old male celebrity in an abandoned building in New York. They found two empty beer bottles and several Christian tracts next to his body. I cannot seem to shake it off—I cannot help but wonder if he was looking for someone to lead him to Jesus Christ. In Acts 8:31, the eunuch requested someone to guide him to understand the Scriptures. We must preach while we can.

Blessed be the Lord Who allowed me the privilege to see 8 precious souls receive God’s wonderful gift of eternal life by placing their full faith in Jesus Christ as Saviour. Larry, who received Christ as Saviour on May 15, has been going to church faithfully and is being discipled by Pastor McGraw. Please pray for God to keep Larry’s heart tender towards the Word of God and for Larry to continue to grow.

DISCIPLESHIP

Thank you for praying for Howard. God helped me find a good church in his area to recommended to him. One Sunday morning, I received a text message from Howard telling me that he was getting ready for church. Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord for Larry, who is now taking some discipleship classes at Crestview Independent Baptist Church. Taylor has, by the grace of God, been reading his Bible consistently. He asked me to be his accountability for his daily walk with God.

MINISTRY PRESENTATION

I really enjoyed getting back to my home church for a season and helping with the preaching, the Bus Ministry, the ground work, visitations, Nursing Home Ministry, Sunday school, choir, etc. Words will always fail me to accurately say how grateful to God I am for my home church. I marvel at their dedication, busyness, service, love, and faithfulness. I really enjoyed serving alongside every one of them. The church family also organized a surprise birthday party for Ms. Stella Ralstin, the church secretary for over 30 years and the pastor’s mom, who just turned 80. She is a great example of real faithfulness and dedication to the Lord’s work.

I was also able to travel to Florida and present my ministry before three churches and visit three other churches. Praise the Lord for a new supporting church: Amazing Grace Baptist Church of Wichita, Kansas.

PROJECTS

Praise the Lord for the decision of the First Baptist Church of Hammond family to give $1,500 toward materials for the ministry in Gabon! I will never be able to thank God enough for His mighty works through His faithful people! God has now allowed me the opportunity to raise $6,600 for the Bible project. Gabon is now another step closer to receiving the pure Word of God and being grounded in the sound doctrines of the Bible. Praise the Lord for allowing me to find some needful online resources for the Punu (a local dialect) Gospel tracts. My mom and my brother are also helping with it. God willing, the tract template should be ready for printing next month.

Thank you very much for your faithful prayers and support! I am definitely keeping you in my prayers as well. May God continue to bless you as you faithfully serve Him! To God be all the glory!

That all everywhere may hear,

Bro. Fisa Mihy-mihyndu
