Dennis Lagos Prayer Letter: The “Be Cool” UpdateWe praise God for His faithfulness in our lives. Over the holidays, we were blessed not only to spend a little time with family and share a special Christmas Eve service with our home church, Fellowship Baptist Church of Durham, North Carolina; but we were also blessed, through a special gift from our home church, to enjoy a trip to New York a week before our wedding anniversary. While enjoying the time there, God used us to share the Gospel with those whom He led in our path. We were privileged to share the Gospel with a young lady who had arrived from Turkey just a few months before, and God led us to some young adults who were ready to hear the Gospel and be saved while we were out witnessing on the streets.

Another great blessing we would like to share is the blessing of God’s healing for a little boy who was diagnosed with Stage II lymphoma. His family is from Pakistan, and we have been praying and sharing the Gospel with this Muslim family for a while now. Through God’s divine plan, He allowed us the privilege of meeting this family at the hospital the day they received the news that their boy was cancer-free after only two months of chemotherapy. God got the glory, because we shared with them how hundreds of Christians were praying for him, and it is undeniable that the Lord Jesus Christ answered that prayer of healing because He is God! We lovingly told them, with tears in our eyes, that Jesus is the Messiah, and just as He healed their son, He would save their souls if they would only believe. For the very first time, there was no resistance to this message of salvation. They observed the truth. Although they did not make a verbal decision at that moment, we knew God was working on their hearts. We covet your prayers for this dear family; pray that they would come to know the salvation of the Lord.

We also rejoice in the new partnerships of faithful supporters over these last two months. We are excited about what God has in store for this new year, and we are praying that God will lead us to the partnerships necessary to get us to the field by January of 2017. To God be the glory! Thank you again for your prayers and faithful giving to the Lord.

In Christ’s service,

Dennis & Holly Lagos
