The summer months have not caused a slowdown. New people have been coming to the church services nearly every week. We have had 95 first-time visitors since the beginning of the year, with 163 salvation decisions. King’s Kids Club is going well, and a larger group is attending services on Sunday evenings! We are truly thankful for your prayers and the faithful monetary support that remained strong over the summer months. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to reach into the lives of these wonderful people over here.
Holiday Bible Club
This year’s summer VBS, or Holiday Bible Club, was truly unique. We had a blast with the dinosaur theme! Someone got carried away and wanted a big Dino suit. It was especially great to see children from our church families, walk-ins, our village, and even some from a distance. God pulled it all together, just as He assembled the 48 children He wanted to attend, 14 of whom received Christ. Our church helpers had a great team spirit and clicked along in their respective areas like professionals. Daniel and Rachel were able to travel to England to join the fun. All that typical Daniel energy and excitement certainly encouraged our church members! Thank you, Dan!
Solts2 Were Here!
Our friends and family know that we look forward to the day Daniel, Rachel, and Ruby come to live and work in England. Our recent visit with them was a taste of the future for us all, and we soaked up the special time to have some of our family here again. It definitely wasn’t long enough, though, for Grandpa and Nana! Now they are back on the deputation trail. Thank you so very much from us for the many, many kindnesses shown to them along the way. We give God the praise for His wonderful safety and provision during their travels.
We ask that you continue to pray for Josh as he settles into his job and church family in Iowa. We are so encouraged by the work God is doing in his life. Meanwhile, Jeremy is on the last lap of college with his senior year. Thank you to those who send him little extras and notes of encouragement.
Our church ministries are in full swing, and the calendar is full of special events and activities to come.
Please pray with us for the strength and the Holy Spirit’s power to serve effectively in the months ahead.
