Darrell Ratcliff Prayer Letter: Evangelistic CampaignsWe are so thrilled and excited about what God is doing, and we are so grateful for all your faithfulness in your love, prayers, and support that are helping us to reach precious souls for the Lord Jesus Christ.

In June, we helped a church in a very small town in the state of Zacatecas. On Friday, we preached the Gospel in several evangelistic clubs in different parts of the town. Then on Saturday, we had an evangelistic rally in a rodeo type of arena. Praise the Lord! God blessed in this small town, with over 1,000 people hearing the Gospel of Christ and around 700 people trusting Christ as their Saviour.

As many of you know, one of the desires of my heart is to take a group of young people from good Bible institutes down here in Mexico to travel with me to help churches in evangelistic campaigns from time to time. This summer God gave me the privilege of taking 10 people with me for about 27 days. Every few days, we were in a different church, so we were with 7 churches in that timeframe. Every day we were doing something to reach others for Christ. God blessed; and, praise the Lord, over 8,000 precious souls trusted Christ as their Saviour. To God be all the glory!

Later in León, with very few workers in a very young church, we were able to see 100 people trust Christ as their Saviour. Then in Ciudad Valles, we basically did an evangelistic type of conference, encouraging and training the church to share the Gospel of Christ each and every day through giving out Gospel tracts and personal soul winning. We emphasized the importance of mass evangelism, as illustrated by the early church in the book of Acts and also by the lives of Paul, Peter, and others. Of course, the Lord Jesus Christ was a great example of preaching to the multitudes, and I have tried to teach and preach in Mexico that we should follow this great biblical pattern and example and try to reach the multitudes as well.

I would like to ask for you to pray (and thank you in advance for praying) for the upcoming evangelistic campaigns and projects to take the Gospel to the lost. I believe we can see a greater harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus Christ as God’s people continue to pray fervently for this ministry. Please pray for the overall health of my family and for God’s power, provision, and protection in our lives. We are so thankful for all you do to help us reach others for the Lord.

Yours for souls,

Darrell Ratcliff
