We are so excited about what God is doing, and we are so grateful for all of the faithfulness in your love, prayers, and support, which are helping us reach precious souls for the Lord.
As many of you know, one of the desires of my heart is to take groups of young people from good Bible institutes and churches down here in Mexico to travel with me to help churches in evangelistic campaigns from time to time. This summer God gave me the privilege of taking 9 people with me for about 24 days. Every few days, we were in a different church, so we were with 8 churches in that time. Every day we were doing something to reach others for Christ. God blessed; and, praise the Lord, over 6,000 precious souls trusted Christ as their Saviour. To God be all the glory!
One evening in Leon, after finishing an evangelistic campaign where over 200 people were saved, my family and I went soul winning. We always try to do something every day to give out the Gospel, and my wife and son had not had the opportunity to share Christ that day. It was an amazing evening. There were so many people out on the dirt streets in front of their homes, trying to cool off after the hot day. I always try to introduce my son, saying that he would like to share something very important with the people, after I have given them a tract about our daughter Alejandra, who was born in Mexico and only lived for 12 days. That night, Michael got to win the most people that he has ever won to the Lord in personal soul winning. Michael, our 14-year-old son, spoke to several different groups of people, and by the time the evening was finished, 26 precious souls had trusted Christ as their Saviour. My wife also got to witness in several different places, and 9 others trusted in the Lord for salvation. Praise the Lord for the power of the Gospel!
We are so excited that we are able to encourage and train churches to share the Gospel of Christ each and every day through giving out Gospel tracts and personal soul winning. We also emphasize the importance of mass evangelism, as illustrated by the early church in the book of Acts and also by the lives of Paul, Peter, and others. Of course, the Lord Jesus Christ was a great example of personal evangelism and also of preaching to the multitudes. I have tried to teach and preach that we should follow the great Biblical pattern of reaching people through personal evangelism and mass evangelism. In regards to training others, I would ask that you please pray that God would use our website, PredicaACristo.com, where we have free videos, audios, books in digital form, and other materials, for the furtherance of the Gospel here in Mexico and around the world.
Please also pray for our upcoming evangelistic campaigns and projects, taking the Gospel to the lost. I believe we can see a greater harvest of souls for the Lord Jesus Christ as God’s people continue to pray fervently for this ministry. Please pray for the overall health of my family and for God’s power, provision, and protection in our lives. We are so thankful for all you do to help us to reach others for the Lord.
