Daniel Wilder Prayer Letter: Unknown FruitThe Lord has been blessing the three bus routes we started last year. It is exciting to see the young people in whom I have invested my life for many years invest their lives in others. Two clubs have been started on Saturdays by two of the captains to help instill biblical principles in their bus riders and teach them to go soul winning. Allan is a nine-year-old boy who recently started coming on Jose’s bus route. Last week he was hit by a motorcycle while walking home from school and suffered a cracked skull. He was very close to dying and has spent several days in intensive care. When José informed me about the accident, I asked him if he knew if Allan was saved or not. What a joy it was to find out that José had won him to the Lord two weeks earlier in his house. Thank the Lord for the Bus Ministry! Please pray for Allan to recover and that his family would also be reached for Christ.

Several young men in our church have been going to a nearby school to preach the Bible. Jonathan, one of the young men, told me that he was discouraged because it appeared that no one was interested or getting saved. However, during a teen activity at our church, one of the students from the school brought his younger sister Kimberly, who also attends the school. During the message I asked who was 100% that they would go to Heaven when they died. Kimberly raised her hand. I asked her how she knew, and she told me that a few weeks earlier, she had gotten saved in the school after Jonathan had presented the Gospel. I asked Jonathan why he hadn’t told me. He told me that it was a surprise to him. We were all very excited and praised the Lord. Even though we don’t always see the fruit of our labors, it doesn’t mean that the Lord is not doing His work. This encouraged us all to keep on keeping on in spite of the fact that we don’t always see the results right away.

At the beginning of last year, I encouraged our church to give sacrificially to pay off a debt we incurred while remodeling. At that time, we owed about $40,000.00. I told them that I would pay half of that and encouraged them to come up with the other half. Many people have sacrificed and given, with one giving her motorcycle and another giving a piece of property. We have had several fundraisers, and many have given a special offering. I am pleased to announce that this month we have reached the halfway mark. We now owe just $20,000.00. Please pray that we would be able to pay off this loan as soon as possible. Pray that the Lord would help us to sell the piece of property that was given and that He would bless and work in the lives of our people in a special way.

His for souls,
