“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.” (I Timothy 1:12) We are incredibly grateful that our heavenly Father is allowing us to serve Him! We started our deputation journey at the beginning of 2019, and we have been busy all month presenting the work that God has given us to do. God has allowed us to be in seven churches in four states! We were in both the church where I grew up and also the church in which my wife grew up. It was a great honor being able to present our work to some of the people who have had the greatest impact on our lives!
We have loved being able to meet and get to know many choice servants of the Lord in these churches. It is encouraging to know that there are still Christians all over who are faithfully serving our Saviour! We try our best to be soul-conscious wherever we are. At a Missions Conference in Alabama, I was out soul winning with another missionary, and we were able to lead a young man named Nicholas and his sister Shayzmyn to the Lord! What a privilege it is to be used of God to help someone!
I had my ordination service at my dad’s church in Michigan. It was a great honor and privilege to be ordained into the ministry by the church where I grew up. It still amazes me that God would use one such as I to serve Him!
