Daniel and Rachel Solt Prayer Letter: Walking Forward into Full-Time DeputationFriends! Thank you for your prayers for our family during the past few months! We are amazed at the speed with which He has brought us into deputation, but as we walk forward, He has placed many of you in our path to love us and encourage us. What a mighty God we serve!

We started off October in Montgomery, Alabama, with Perry Hill Road Baptist Church for their Missions Sunday. What an amazing and fun group of Christians they were! Pastor Nulph graciously asked me to preach the Sunday services, along with sharing our ministry, which was such an honor.

We were invited by Pastor McCoy to travel up to Des Moines, Iowa, to join the First Baptist Church of Urbandale for their Missions Conference. The Missions Banquet, special music, preaching, and more were top-notch. We also enjoyed seeing many of our fellow alumni and rekindling old friendships.

For our next stop, we flew down to Mesa, Arizona, to join Valley Baptist Church and Pastor Kevin Cowling for their Missions Conference. Yet again, we were able to be with many of our college friends and serve alongside them in ministry. We enjoyed time spent on the bus routes, WMS meals, speaking to Valley Baptist School, soul winning, preaching for junior high church, and fellowship with many old and new friends.

From hot weather to cold weather, we ended the month with a quick visit to Jordan Baptist Church in Burbank, Illinois. Bro. Ortega took me to a migrant hotel with 203 Venezuelans. What a sight to see people in such need! Twenty-three of those people were in church on Sunday, and many are coming to Christ. Praise the Lord! Our final stop was with our longtime friends at Harvest Baptist Church in Grass Lake, Michigan. We enjoyed our first ever chili cookoff on Friday night and went soul winning on Saturday. Pastor Daniel graciously had me preach the Sunday services.

This October, we were able to fully present the Gospel to 12 people with 1 saved. I met Joel outside his trailer home in Mesa. After extending an invitation to Valley Baptist Church, he began to share with me about times he’d been hurt in past churches. After listening to him for a few minutes, I told Joel that true healing would only begin after salvation. After hearing the Gospel, he sweetly bowed his head and accepted Jesus.

Ruby is now at the point where she can stand for up to six seconds, and soon she will be walking. She waves and claps, and most times, she has a smile on her face even after a six-hour drive. Parenting is such a joy! Thank you once again for your love, prayers, and financial support!

Yours for souls,

Daniel, Rachel, and Ruby Solt
