Daniel and Misty Wilder Prayer Letter: Covered by the Blood of Jesus“Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38) I am very grateful for the laborers the Lord has given us. It is only because of their help that the Lord has allowed us to accomplish all that we have accomplished: start 8 churches, have an average attendance of 135, run bus routes, hold Bible Clubs and conferences, serve 45 students in our Christian school, and serve 20 young men and ladies in our Bible institute. However, I feel like the laborers are lacking even more now when compared to the work that we have before us. The Lord has opened many ministry opportunities for us to edify people and win souls, but the laborers are still few. Please pray for more teachers for our Christian school and Bible institute, more Sunday school and Junior Church workers, more soul winners, more bus route workers, and more pastors. “I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” (John 9:4)

While out soul winning in San Andrés Itzapa (the site of our next church), I couldn’t find anyone who would listen to me. Everyone had either already received the Gospel or didn’t want to make the time to hear it. Well, I got discouraged and decided to go to the nearest store to buy a snack. While I was asking for some bananas, I noticed a sign that read, “This business is covered by the blood of Jesus.” That was the first time I had ever seen a sign like that. Out of curiosity, I asked the lady who was attending me what that meant. She told me that she didn’t know. I asked her if I could explain to her what it meant to be covered by the blood of Jesus, and she graciously accepted. Before I left the store that day, not only did Miriam know what it meant to be covered by the blood of Jesus, but she herself was covered by the blood of Jesus. “And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” (Galatians 6:9)

I wanted to say a special thank you to all of you who have helped with our building projects. As far as our house is concerned, we now have enough money to buy the material for the roof. The next step will be to build the inside walls, using metal studs and drywall. At the church, we will be able to finish the first floor of our new educational building, thanks to some very special donations. The next phase is to build the auditorium on the second floor, which will cost $50,000. This new auditorium will allow us to double our attendance and reach many more souls for Christ. If you would like to help with this project, either financially or physically, please let me know. You can reach me by sending an email to wilderdaniel@hotmail.com or by calling my cell phone at 011-502-4037-1384.

His for souls,
