Daniel and Mary-Ann Williams Prayer Letter: Summer Has Been Hot, But Hell Is Hotter! While this summer has been hot, the fires of Hell are hotter! We, the Williams family, have been working to rescue souls from Hell while scheduling meetings, traveling around to different churches, preaching, and presenting our future plans for Christ. This summer, Mary-Ann, Luke, and I have all seen souls come to trust in Christ due to our witnessing to them, while Titus, Timothy, and Hannah have all been faithful to go out with us passing out Gospel tracts, door knocking, putting out door hangers, and witnessing in parks. I have tried to be a little more active on Facebook, posting some of our opportunities for Christ, so you are welcome to check that out if you like.

One story that I have not posted on Facebook was that one Saturday, while my family and I were out canvassing an area for a church, I met a man named Tom, and I gave him a Gospel tract. He accepted it, and then I chatted with him for a few minutes. I found out that he had fairly recently moved into the area and that he wanted to find a church home, as he had enjoyed going occasionally at his past location. After giving him some information about the local independent Baptist church, I asked him if he knew for sure that his soul was on its way to Heaven one day. He responded that he attended church semi-regularly and agreed with the teachings from the Bible, but he wasn’t sure of his eternal soul’s destination. I was able to give him a clear presentation of the Gospel, and after some time, he bowed his head and put his faith in Jesus Christ as his only hope for Heaven! To my knowledge, he has not yet visited that church, but at least I know that I will see him in Heaven one day! Please pray that we can be bold, effective witnesses for Christ wherever we are.

This summer, most of our meetings have been in Texas, and they have been such a blessing to us, while we trust that we have been a blessing to them. We have also been able to visit some preachers’ fellowship meetings and Bible conferences, which have been encouraging. In June, we attended a Christian youth camp, and our three boys were moved for Christ. In July, we attended FBMI’s Missions University in Hammond, while our three boys attended First Baptist Church’s big Youth Conference. Missions University was very helpful for Mary-Ann and me, and we look forward to attending next year, unless God has already put us on the field by that time. While our boys were able to attend the day sessions of Youth Conference, the rest of us attended the evening preaching sessions, and they were great! We could really see the working of the Holy Spirit, as souls were saved, lives were dedicated to Christ, and hearts of teenagers were softened to God’s calling. Our own boys were helped greatly, and they hope that we will still be in America for next year’s 50th Youth Conference. If any of you can encourage or bring your teenagers to next year’s Youth Conference, then I highly recommend it!

Our fall schedule is quite full. Praise the Lord! We will be in the center of the country, from Texas, to Kentucky, to Iowa, and parts in between. Please pray for our traveling safety and that God will bless those churches through us. “That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.” (Romans 15:32) I pray that our family can be refreshed in the Lord with the churches that God allows us to meet. Also, please pray for International Baptist Church of Dumaguete in the Philippines, as they are still dealing with severe COVID-19 restrictions from the government.

Sincerely,

R. Daniel Williams and Family to the Philippines
All for Christ!
