Daniel and Mary-Ann Williams Prayer Letter: Getting Closer to the Field--Plane Tickets Purchased! We are getting closer to the field! We have finally purchased our plane tickets to fly to the Philippines this November. God really blessed us with some churches sending in funds for the plane tickets. Thank you so much! We were able to present our ministry in Missouri, Illinois, West Virginia, Michigan, Ontario, and Texas. Passing through Maryland, we were able to visit Washington D.C. and see Mary-Ann’s cousin Cathy, who was instrumental in Mary-Ann’s coming to Christ many years ago. In addition to our presentation meetings, we were able to participate in a Teen Conference, where we were surprised by our children’s youth pastor, Abdel Judeh, being the speaker! Our boys were excited to see him and hear him preach! All in all, we presented our ministry a total of eleven times in these two months, completed a lot of paperwork and schoolwork, and shipped fourteen large boxes of our belongings to the Philippines by slow boat, so they should be there by the time we arrive on the field.

Also during the month of June, my family had two special events which are pictured here. First, we celebrated my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary. I thank and praise the Lord for Godly parents, who raised me in a Christian home and who have served the Lord faithfully as lay workers in churches all of my life. Almost every Saturday, you’ll find them going out soul winning with their church. Secondly, we remembered my brother Timothy, whom our own Timothy is named after. He passed away 25 years ago while rescuing a friend from drowning. As the Holy Spirit prompts, I will sometimes relate his testimony when witnessing to someone, and it is always a powerful personal reminder of John 15:13, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” Jesus loves us so much that He gave His life for us. I know that I will see Timothy again one day, not because of his sacrifice, but because he chose to receive Christ as his Saviour before he died. If you are reading this and do not know for sure that you will be in Heaven one day, then please contact me or someone who can show you what the Bible says about how you “. . . may know that ye have eternal life . . . .” (I John 5:13)

While we regularly go soul winning and pass out Gospel tracts wherever we are, we always look to God for results; for, as we know from I Corinthians 3:6-8, “. . . So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase . . . .” One encounter was when I was able to speak with and witness to two ladies. One of them listened pretty well, while the other one kept getting distracted and constantly tried to change the subject. Neither one received Christ that day, but they both heard the Gospel. I pray that they will be convicted of their need for Christ and have another opportunity for salvation. God used me to plant the seed of the Gospel; now we trust and pray that God will send someone to water and that the increase will come one day.

Starting in July, we will be out on the road for three months with a very full schedule. We are looking forward to being back at our home church for both FBMI’s Missions University and our annual Youth Conference! All four of our children will be Youth Conference delegates this year, and they are excited to attend and meet some of the teenagers they have met over the course of our deputation. Please pray that God will bless these events!

Thank you again for your prayers and faithful support. We love partnering with all of you in our service for Christ!

Sincerely,

R. Daniel Williams and Family to the Philippines
All for Christ!
