Daniel and Erin Lang Prayer Letter: Big Days!I hope that this letter finds you happy in the service of our King! We are doing very well here and enjoying a little bit cooler weather during this rainy season. Zeke and Gianna have adapted well. Anytime the temperature drops below 80 degrees, they let us know that they are cold! They are going to have a rude awakening when I take them to the Midwest part of the U.S. in the winter.

In the months of June and August, we hosted two different big days at the church. In June, we had a “Family Day” for our Deaf Ministry. There were around 100 family members and friends of our deaf people who came as visitors. In total, we had 420 people in attendance! In August, we hosted a “Friend Day.” We had a record attendance of about 520 people, with around 150 visitors! God is blessing Truth Baptist Church, as many of our people are seeking to follow Him!

In July, I had the opportunity to travel to Akure, Ondo State. I was able to preach a Youth Conference for Pastor Abraham. He has sent some of the young men in his church to be trained at our Bible seminary. One of our graduates is working with him, and about a year ago, he started a church in a nearby town. The new church is meeting in a small room at a school. They are holding regular services, going out soul winning, and helping new Christians to grow in their faith. God has provided the church with land. Please pray, as I would like to raise the money to help this church with a building.

In September, we will be returning to the States for a furlough. We will be there from September 2023 to January 2024. We are thanking God that our schedule is almost filled! I reached out to our supporting churches at the end of last year, but if you are interested in having us come to give an update, we still have a few dates available. We ask that you pray as we seek to update our supporting churches, present to new ones, and raise money for some specific ministry projects. The main project for which we are raising money is that of helping three of our graduates who are pastoring to be able to build church buildings. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for this need. We will be presenting this need as we visit churches. If you would like to give towards this need or would like more information, please reach out to me. You can give through FBMI at https://www.fbmi.org/missionary/lang.

Thank you for your continued faithful support! We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!

In His service,

Daniel, Erin, Ezekiel, and Gianna Lang
