Daniel and Erin Lang Prayer Letter: Almost Ready to Leave!“He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.”

(Psalm‬ ‭91:4‬ ‭‬)‬‬

As our time on deputation draws to a close, I can’t help but marvel at the faithfulness of our heavenly Father! What an honor it is to be able to serve the King of Heaven! I’m thankful that God has called us and that He has promised to keep us.

We had the opportunity to go soul winning with a guest speaker and his son at our home church in August. Praise the Lord for the two souls that got saved! That same weekend, we also got to help host the 4th Annual Teen Rally at our home church, where two young people made a profession of faith!

We wanted to say thank you to First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana; Bible Baptist Church of Terre Haute, Indiana; and Berean Baptist Church of Beloit, Wisconsin, for helping us with our moving expenses. Our goal was to have $30,000 for the move, and due to your generosity and the generosity of other churches that I’ve mentioned in previous letters, we’ve had $33,091.02 come in! It is hard to put into words how honored and humbled we are to be your arm into Nigeria. Our heart’s desire is to please God, and by doing this, we know that fruit will abound to your account.

We were able to turn in our visa paperwork and, Lord willing, should have our visas in the next few weeks. I know many of you were praying that Gianna’s passport would come in quickly so that we could get this done. Because of your prayers, the passport got to us much faster than we were told it would! Thank you for your prayers! I just purchased tickets for October 14! Please pray that the visas arrive in time for us to leave on that date. If you have any questions, please let me know.

We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!

In His service,

Daniel, Erin, Ezekiel, and Gianna
