Courtney Godsoe Prayer Letter: Our 12th Anniversary! We thank God for the wonderful privilege of serving Him and for His abundant blessings on our efforts. May and June were productive months. Praise the Lord for 2,253 souls professing faith in Jesus Christ! We had 449 saved, and a family has been baptized and coming faithfully as a result of our Soul-Winning Marathon. We saw 1,299 students and teachers saved through our Public School Ministry. The Public School Ministry has been a special blessing. The faculty loves to have us come and teach from classroom to classroom. They even prepare snacks for our workers and allow them to use the teachers’ lounge!

Due to the summer vacation, May and June were especially occupied with youth activities. During our annual music workshop, 13 young people studied various musical instruments. I never cease to be amazed at how quickly they learn. Many of them start on Monday with no knowledge of how to read music or play an instrument, and by Friday they can read the music and actually play at the recital. Our church now has a small orchestra that accompanies the choir, and they really sound good.

I had the opportunity to preach at Youth Camp for Pastor Eddie Galyean in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, about five hours north of Dasmariñas. The theme was “Surrender.” God really blessed, and the moving of the Holy Spirit was evident in the lives of the young people.

During the Youth Revival at our church, 6 young people surrendered to full-time service; and, to the best of my knowledge, virtually all of them made significant decisions for the Lord.

We celebrated our 12th church anniversary on May 21. It is encouraging to see families whose children have grown up in our church and to see young adults and couples who were children and teenagers when they first came.

Our discipleship program has been improving, and many of our new converts have begun to win souls. There are at least 10 people who have recently shared the Gospel for the first time.

I would like to feature one of our faithful workers, Jeremy Colonia. Jeremy has attended our church faithfully since 2011. He started Bible college in 2012 and graduated in 2016. He is a very hard worker and a soul winner. He is our music director, song leader, church mechanic, welder, and jack-of-all-trades. He is currently discipling a family of eight. Jeremy comes from a large family and has played a big part in helping his siblings and relatives stay faithful to church and in serving God. Thanks to each of you for having a part in Jeremy’s life.

Thank you all so much for your love, prayers, and sacrifice, which keep us in this bountiful harvest field. We are eternally grateful.

Yours for souls,

Courtney & Ester Godsoe
