Christopher Sage Prayer Letter: Serving the Lord and Doing His WorkThank you very much for your prayers and support over the past two months or so. The Lord has done some wonderful things!

I got back to Guadalajara on December 8. We had a nice Christmas season here with our children’s home, and I had the privilege of resuming my responsibilities as our bus director. We had a special day on Christmas Sunday, with full buses and many saved, as well as on January 7. We had one area that had not been visited as usual, so I started visiting the area myself, and the Lord started to bring more and more people to church also. What a blessing it is to serve the Lord and do His work!

When I returned to Guadalajara, I found out that one of the pastors of one of our new church plants had left the church. I also began going there on Sundays to conduct the services and teach Sunday school. It has been amazing to see the Lord work in that situation! Please pray for the people of that church. Many have ceased to attend. Please pray for me to have wisdom to help these dear people. I also need a more economical vehicle to make three trips a week. It is a 120-mile round trip. There are a few possibilities for a permanent pastor. Please pray for the Lord to put that together.

On January 29, a group of 12 people from my sending church in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, came to visit us for a week in Guadalajara. Missionary Evangelist Darrell Ratcliff was also here to conduct some rallies. Pastor Murillo got the people of our church going, and the Lord gave us over 1,700 in attendance at the 2 rallies, with over 1,350 decisions to accept Christ as Saviour. The Lord gave us 36 new people in church Sunday, which was good for the spiritual growth of the people of our church. We have 4 ladies and 1 teenager who want to start soul winning regularly on Saturdays.

Yours for souls,

Chris Sage
