Thank you for praying for the team in the new church plant this summer. The Lord did some amazing and wonderful things! To Him be all the glory!
The wife the Lord has given me completes my life in so many ways. She did all the cooking this summer, and every meal was fabulous. She is also the best soul winner I have ever personally known, and she brought many to church. Why did I wait so long to get married? My number-one counsel to the young people this summer was “marry young.”
The Lord gave us 15-20 families who were attending the church who had been saved and whom we were discipling. Five teenagers went to camp and are excited about serving the Lord. Many in the church are also becoming soul winners. Normally, it takes a new church in Mexico 3-5 years to have an attendance of 30-50 people. By the grace of God and with your prayers, that goal is much closer, but the converts are still very weak and need a lot of prayer.
The Lord is leading us to help a new church get started this month in a small town in the state of Mexico. There has not been the response for workers that we were hoping for, so it may be just my wife and I for now, with one other lady in October; however, I believe the Lord is going to put together a wonderful long-term team of workers for His glory. We will be working in this new church plant until December.
Prayer Requests
1. Pray that the people we were discipling in Jaral will keep growing in grace; they are still very weak and need much help.
2. Pray for the power of God on the new church plant September to December.
3. Pray for wisdom and grace to buy a 6 x 12 enclosed cargo trailer for our ministry.
4. Pray for the Lord to put together a long-term team of workers for our church-planting ministry.

Gracias por orar por el equipo en la nueva plantación de una iglesia este verano. ¡El Señor hizo algunas cosas asombrosas y maravillosas! ¡A Él sea toda la gloria!
La esposa que el Señor me ha dado completa mi vida de muchas maneras. Ella hizo todas las comidas este verano, y cada comida fue fabulosa. También es la mejor ganadora de almas que he conocido personalmente, y trajo a muchos a la iglesia. ¿Por qué esperé tanto tiempo para casarme? Mi consejo número uno para los jóvenes este verano fue “cásate joven”.
El Señor nos dio de 15 a 20 familias que asistían a la iglesia que habían sido salvas y a quienes estábamos discipulando. Cinco adolescentes fueron al campamento y están entusiasmados por servir al Señor. Muchos en la iglesia también se están convirtiendo en ganadores de almas. Normalmente, una nueva iglesia en México tarda de 3 a 5 años en tener una asistencia de 30 a 50 personas. Por la gracia de Dios y con sus oraciones, esa meta está mucho más cerca, pero los conversos todavía son muy débiles y necesitan mucha oración.
El Señor nos está guiando a ayudar a una nueva iglesia a comenzar este mes en un pequeño pueblo en el estado de México. No ha habido la respuesta para los trabajadores que esperábamos, por lo que puede ser solo mi esposa y yo por ahora, con otra señora en octubre; sin embargo, creo que el Señor va a reunir un maravilloso equipo de obreros a largo plazo para Su gloria. Estaremos trabajando en esta nueva iglesia hasta diciembre.
Peticiones de oración
1. Ore para que las personas que estábamos discipulando en Jaral sigan creciendo en gracia; Todavía están muy débiles y necesitan mucha ayuda.
2. Ore por el poder de Dios en la nueva iglesia plantada de septiembre a diciembre.
3. Ore por sabiduría y gracia para comprar un remolque de carga cerrado de 2 x 4 metros para nuestro ministerio.
4. Ore para que el Señor reúna un equipo de trabajadores a largo plazo para nuestro ministerio de plantación de iglesias.
