Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” God is answering your prayers!!
In the past couple of months, we have seen the Lord work in a marvelous way, providing some great financial needs as A.W.B.M. moves forward. We have received funds for more Bibles to be printed and shipped, for help with our airfare for our trip to the Philippines in January and February, and for more literature to be printed for the meetings there.
Just this past week, we received enough money to begin construction on the Bible college in Burma, and we will buy supplies so that the transformer and electrical lines can be run to the property. We now need to begin to raise about $20,000 to build the foundation and first floor. Right now we need about $4,000 for cement and steel beams for the footers. Please pray that the money will come in quickly.
Our family is so excited about our upcoming trip at the beginning of the year back to our ministry at Gospel Baptist Church in Bacolod City, Philippines. They just celebrated their 12th anniversary this past weekend, but we do not have all of the results or any photos yet. We’ll include them in our next letter or post them online when we get them. They will be planning for a pastors’ conference at which we will introduce the Teaching All Nations curriculum available thru FBMI.
Bro. Thaung Lian reports this good news:
“God has allowed us to give birth to another mission church in 70 quarter in Southward of Yangon, which was our latest church plant and which church is led by Pastor Aung Shwe, who had been discouraged and tempted to quit the ministry there months ago. But thank God for friends and supporters like you who kept praying for the mission work in Burma, as we have seen the fruit in this photo.”
Please pray for us, as we will be traveling over 5,000 miles in the next couple of months. We still need about $1,500 to take care of our air tickets, which will also include some trips inside the Philippines.
Not a day goes by that we don’t thank God for those of you who pray for us and sacrifice financially so that we can help reach Asia with the Gospel. May God continue to bless you mightily!
