Charles Osgood Prayer Letter: Working With YouthThank you for partnering with us!

Youth Work

For the past 7½ years, I have served as the youth pastor of our church, and my wife and I have worked closely and primarily with our teenagers. Recently I received the opportunity to also work with our single adults. Here in Ghana a person is considered a “youth” until they get married or they are above 30 years old. Therefore, I am still the youth pastor. I will be overseeing our Teen Department, but my wife and I will be working more closely with the single adults in our church. We are excited to have the opportunity to help provide direction for these young adults at such an important phase of their lives. Please pray that God will give us wisdom to help the youth in our church to grow.
Converts

A few months ago, my wife was able to win a lady named Paulina to Christ, along with her daughter Lordina. Lordina began coming to church with us on Sunday mornings and attending our Children’s Department. We were unable to get Paulina to come though. A few weeks ago, our Children’s Department sang in church. Lordina’s parents came to church to watch her sing. After the service Lordina’s father Paul came forward during the invitation and accepted Christ as his Saviour and was baptized. The next week Paulina also followed the Lord in baptism. Now the whole family is coming to church! Paul has worked through our salvation booklet and is planning to join the church this Sunday!
Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference

We are making preparations for our 8th Annual Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference in August. Our theme this year is on marriage. Please pray that God will use this conference to make a great impact in the lives of those who come.

In Christ,

Charles, Lindsey, and Josiah Osgood
