Family Update
I thank the Lord that we have good news regarding Lindsey’s health! In December Lindsey had an ultrasound scan, which showed that she does not have gallstones (this had been a big concern for us)! In January she also went to see a gastroenterologist to get advice regarding the pains in her stomach. He gave us good insight as to the probable causes of her pain and a good course of treatment.
Also in January, Lindsey had a lot of pain in a tooth she’d had a root canal done on several years earlier in Ghana. She went to a dentist and found out the tooth was infected. She had to have the root canal redone and a crown put on the tooth. In the last few weeks, Lindsey’s stomach pain has been greatly reduced! We praise God for the healing and strength He has provided!
Praises and Prayer Requests
I want to thank the Lord for the work that He did in me during the nearly four months I was in the USA. While Lindsey was struggling with health issues and we faced uncertainty, I believe that God was using these circumstances to purge me and teach me some things I needed to learn. I am so glad that God is still working on me!
We are so glad to be back in Ghana! We arrived on Saturday evening, February 11. The following Monday through Friday, I had the privilege of teaching a class in our Bible college. I am so thankful to have a part in the training of men who are preparing to serve the Lord. It has been a blessing to see new faces at both our church in Bohyen and at our church in Barekuma.
On Saturday it was so refreshing to go soul winning here in Ghana again. I was able to lead Nana and Victoria to Christ. Please pray for these new converts to become disciples of Christ.
Please pray for our church in Barekuma, as we will be having a week of prayer and fasting February 27 – March 3. Pray that God will do a great work in the hearts of our members. There are so many people who need to be reached in Barekuma and the neighboring villages.
Please be in prayer for our main church in Bohyen, as we will be having Visitor-Emphasis Month in March. Pray that souls will be saved and people added to the church.
