SMITE Youth Camp
June 19-23, we conducted our 4th SMITE Youth Camp. Missionary Mark Holmes, along with three Nigerian pastors, came to do the majority of the teaching and preaching. It was a great week! We had 117 campers who came from 7 different churches. Each morning, the campers received classroom instruction. Then each afternoon, they went out and conducted Bible Clubs. We had a total of 19 Bible Clubs. Over 1,300 children attended our Bible Clubs, and over 600 children professed faith in Christ! Each evening, we had preaching, and many of the campers made decisions to serve Christ. As a result of SMITE, we have now launched a Bible Club Ministry! We currently have 4 Bible Clubs being conducted on a weekly basis!
Converts
I was able to lead 21 souls to Christ during personal soul winning in the last 2 months. One of my converts, Majesty, followed the Lord in baptism on July 2. He also brought his friend, Michael, to church. Please pray for Majesty to grow in the Lord.
Fundamental Baptist Church of Amakye-Bare
Pastor Thomas Moah continues to teach and preach each week at our daughter church in Amakye-Bare. Recently, he was able to baptize 2 of his converts! Our church is planning to build a mission house for Pastor Thomas and his family on the church property. We estimate that we can build the mission house for about US$10,000. 16th Annual Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference
We are preparing for our 16th Annual Pastors’ and Workers’ Conference to be held August 15-18. Our theme is “How to Grow Your Church.” We have pastors and Christian workers planning to come from Togo, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and many regions in Ghana. Please pray that God will bless and use this conference to result in the growth of His church here in Ghana!
