Brian Hebert Prayer Letter: Busy Month With Many BlessingsDear Pastors and Praying Friends

As I once again reflect on what the Lord has done for Liz and me, I cannot better express how I feel other than to echo Paul’s words in I Corinthians 1:9, “God is faithful . . . .” I can certainly say that He has been faithful to us.

We started out the month of February with our first-ever missions conference at the Kimesville Road Baptist Church in Burlington, North Carolina, pastored by Bro. Tim McCann. The folk there were so friendly and kind. We greatly enjoyed spending time with the McCann family during the week as well. It was so great to see how down-to-earth they were; we felt right at home with them. Bro. David Perryman, who was a full-time missionary to Honduras for many years, preached that week. His stories of what God is doing in that country challenged everyone to give to missions while doing all that they can for their own cities. Overall, God blessed that week in a mighty way with packed altars every night. The people took very good care of us. We are so thankful for the hospitality of the great people of the Kimesville Road Baptist Church.

We had another first this past month as well: we went to two different churches on the same Sunday. We were able to be with the Hillcrest Baptist Church in Hillsborough, North Carolina, and the Valley View Baptist Church in Kernersville, North Carolina. In both services I was able to preach to God’s people about the need to emulate the disciples’ success on the day of Pentecost. I had so much fun preaching about the awesome power of God to reach the world.

Most of this month was spent making calls to pastors to set up meetings. God has given us so many meetings now that we have almost two months completely filled back to back! Didn’t I tell you God has been faithful? It has been so much fun to trust His loving hand.

We also praise the Lord for Liz being able to lead a young lady to the Lord during our weekly soul winning with the teens of Liberty Baptist Church. I almost had a man saved, but hamburgers on the stove foiled my plans. I did, however, have 5 visitors come to church on February 23, not because of anything I did, but rather because they basically asked, “Sir, what must my kids do to ride your bus?” God rewards faithful soul winning one way or another. Amen?

We now look forward to the month of March. Pray for us, as this will be a very busy month for us.

His servant and yours,

Brian Hebert
