Brandon Heselschwerdt Prayer Letter: A Missed Uber Connection Leads to a Saved Soul!We opened up the month of February with Ali and me having some time together at a Marriage Conference—with no kids, Amen! We had a wonderful time together and were encouraged very much in our marriage from the Word of God.

We have had many meetings this month throughout Michigan as we present the need for the Gospel in East Africa. God has blessed us in these meetings to be encouraged and strengthened through great fellowship with pastors, their families, and other brothers and sisters in the faith along the way. We are excited to say as well that two more churches from this month have already decided to partner with us in reaching the lost in Kenya!

One of our highlights from this month was toward the end of the month. We spent Saturday morning going out bus calling with Brother Campbell from First Baptist Church. When we were done, we all went to McDonald’s for lunch. While we were waiting for our food, a young lady named Charmesia sat down across from us. She began talking to Ali, and the two struck up a conversation. After finding out that an Uber was supposed to pick her up and had never showed, we all offered her a ride home as we headed back to church. When we arrived at her home, Brother Campbell began to go through the Gospel with her as we prayed. Praise the Lord! Charmesia trusted Christ as her personal Saviour! On Sunday we were able to be used in all of the services, and after the morning service, another woman came forward and was led to the Lord by Brother Campbell’s wife. We’re so blessed and thankful to see the Lord’s hand at work. Praise the Lord for these two women who are now Heaven-bound!

We ended our month by helping out and being used of God at our home church for our RU kids’ class and in our Nursing Home Ministry. It was good to see many faces we have not seen in quite some time and to see how God worked in these services. We also closed out with our home church’s Missions Conference. We were able to give an update to our home church and were encouraged greatly by our church family.

We’re excited as we move into March because our schedule continues to pick up with meetings. Please be in prayer for us, as we have many miles of traveling this month. Please also pray for our oldest child Jeffrey, as he has to have his tonsils and adenoids removed on March 13. Thank you all for your prayers and support as we continue to serve our Lord Jesus Christ. May God bless you.
