What a blessing it is to be a part of the company that deals with the distribution of the Word of God! What a blessing it is to know that what you are doing will last forever! There are only three things that are eternal: the souls of men, the Word of God, and the local New Testament Baptist church.
It is a blessing to be sent out of First Baptist Church of Hammond. Pastor John Wilkerson and the good folks at FBCH are a huge blessing! During the month of July, they provided the funds to send another container of Scriptures to Southeast Asia. Our 25th container of Scriptures arrived in Bangkok in June, and another one is expected to arrive the middle of August.
I was able to present the ministry of publishing the Word of God in six different churches during the month of June. I have been limited to traveling just in East Texas because of health issues.
A very close friend of mine passed away this month, and I was asked to preach his funeral service. He and his dear wife have been faithful prayer warriors and have supported our ministry for years. We are so thankful for their prayers and for their financial gifts to purchase Bibles for the great need in Southeast Asia.
What a blessing it is to see souls saved, to see the Word of God distributed, and to be a part of the greatest church in the world. Let us all invest in those things that last forever!
Our 26th container of Scriptures arrived on August 15 at our Distribution Center in Rangsit, Thailand. Dr. Curtis Hall arrived from Rogers, Arkansas, just 3 hours before the container arrived. Over 700 cases of Scriptures were unloaded and shipped out to other locations within 24 hours. We are so thankful to everyone who made this possible!
During the month of August, I had two surgeries for skin cancer. The doctors have assured me that all the cancer was removed. I appreciate all of your prayers for my healing recovery so I will be ready for the Second Annual B.E.S.T. Conference in Rogers, Arkansas, September 2-3. We would love to have you come!
Our B.E.S.T. Missions Conference will start with supper at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, September 2, at Colonial Baptist Church, located at 1599 West Olive Street in Rogers, Arkansas. There will be a full day of events on Tuesday, the 3rd. The church will provide all the meals on Tuesday. Country Inn & Suites is providing rooms at a special conference rate of $59 per night. Dr. Bob Gray II and Dr. Howard Hall will be preaching the main services. Dr. Curtis Hall and I will be giving reports on B.E.S.T. Missions both nights. Our goal for the conference is to make churches more aware of the great need for the Word of God worldwide. If you cannot attend, would you please pray for God to stir our hearts to publish the Word of God for those who have never seen a copy of God’s Word.
Three of the greatest needs we have in Thailand are whole Thai Bibles, whole English KJB Bibles, and Thai John & Romans. Please pray that we can put together these Scriptures that are in great demand.
My heart’s desire is to place a copy of God’s Word in the hands of every believer in Southeast Asia and throughout the world. The need for Scriptures in other languages is truly great. Without folks like you who give and pray, none of what we are doing would be possible.
We love you and thank God for your faithfulness to the Lord and His work. His work is winning souls, providing Scriptures, and establishing New Testament Baptist churches. These are the only things that will last forever.
