Bob and Jacqueline Bowen Prayer Letter: 40th Container Has Shipped!“We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.” (II Thessalonians 1:3)

“I thank my God upon every remembrance of you.” (Philippians 1:3)

We want to thank you so much for giving to help Tan in his time of need. He is our distribution manager in Thailand and is the main man with the main plan for getting the Word of God to those who are in need. He suffered a great loss late last year in a flood that took everything he owned.

On May 1, Keith Davidson and Seedline International loaded our 40th container of material for BEST Missions for Thailand. This container was fully loaded with Thai John & Romans. The shipping company has already notified Brother Curtis Hall that it should arrive the last week of June. Brother Hall will be in Bangkok during that time and will be able to help unload and distribute the material, which is always a blessing. He will be visiting our locations where we distribute Bibles in Southeast Asia.

BEST Missions hosted its 2nd Annual Regional Bible Conference May 7-9 at Landmark Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana. The church was packed with lay people, along with pastors and missionaries. There were at least 13 preachers and a tour group from Hyles-Anderson College. I also got to spend some time with my pastor, John Wilkerson. What a blessing it was to be with him and the young people with the tour group. One young lady in the tour group named Libby was a little girl when we were serving in Thailand. Her dad was the leader of Team Thailand back then.

I had a conference canceled this month because of storm-related damage to the electrical lines and the power being off for many days. It is no fun being in East Texas with the temperatures being over 100 degrees. We thank the Lord for a small generator that allowed us to keep our refrigerator, lights, and fans running.

On June 19, my wife had cancer surgery at the Cancer Center in Tyler, Texas. The cancer was located inside her nose, and a skin graft was taken to replace the damaged skin. The doctor is sure he got all of the cancer. We thank God for good doctors who were able to diagnose and treat the problem. Because of this, I was not able to attend a national teen conference that I always attend.

We are so blessed and so thankful for all the Lord provides for us. We are blessed to have folks like you who continue to pray for us and provide support for the Word of God being provided through BEST Missions.

Please pray about attending our 6th Annual BEST Missions Bible Conference September 4 & 5. This conference will be held once again at Colonial Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas. This meeting will be a help and a blessing to anyone who attends.

We love you and thank you so much.

Into all the world,

Brother Bowen
