Anchor Baptist Church had the privilege of hosting a Farsi Evangelistic Conference July 16-19. Our guest preacher was Missionary Michael Germi. He is a former Muslim, who was reached for Christ in Australia many years ago. The conference began on Sunday night and went through Wednesday night. Here are some of the highlights from the meeting:
• We had 45 – 50 Farsi speakers attend the conference.
• We heard 2.5 hours of preaching from Brother Germi.
• We saw 14 precious people make a public profession of faith.
• The 3 men pictured below followed the Lord in believer’s baptism.
Just yesterday, we had 14 Farsi speakers attend church. Please pray with us for wisdom as to the timing of starting a Farsi ministry. I would preach/teach, and one of the men would interpret for me. It is a definite need for the new believers, as well as for those who have been saved for a few years to see spiritual growth.
We continue to seek the Lord for a miracle building. As of today, we are meeting in one location Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights and then a different location on Sunday evenings. God is faithful, and we are thankful for what He has provided.
