Baraka Hall Prayer Letter: A Whirlwind of MeetingsWow, has time gone by fast! We feel as if the last two months just slipped past us, being in a whirlwind of meetings and conferences. At the start of October, we were still in Long Beach, California, finishing up a missions conference with Gethsemane Baptist Church. We want to give a huge shout out to our friends and partners there who gave towards the purchase of a new camera! This was a huge expense. Now we will not only be able to do video updates for our supporting churches, but we will also be able to create resources for the Deaf in Ghana in their own language. God is so good!

Later in October, we were able to share our ministry with our friends at McKee Road Baptist Church in Bakersfield, California. Pastor and Mrs. Fies and the dear members at MRBC have been an incredible blessing to our family throughout deputation. We thoroughly enjoyed the service, as Pastor Fies did his best to conduct the service in sign language. What a joy it was to look up and see the entire church singing in sign language! We were also blessed beyond measure to participate in their outreach program. We were simply amazed to see over 60 people participate in going out and sharing the Gospel! To God be the glory!

Finishing up October, we had two missions conferences in one week. We were very grateful to the members of Parkway Baptist Church in Hemet, California, and New Heights Baptist Church in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for their patience and for allowing us to split the meetings. It was a whirlwind of a week; but, nonetheless, both meetings were a true blessing. While at Parkway Baptist Church, my wife was able to share the Gospel with a lady while going door knocking. She listened intently, but sadly, she would not trust Jesus to save her soul. We often rejoice over those who call upon Him, but our hearts break for those who reject the only One Who can give them eternal life. “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:15)

We want to ask you to help us pray specifically as we are getting ready to move to Ghana. First, pray as we are currently filing our paperwork. Pray that there will be no delays. Please pray for Marissa. We are seeking medical advice due to her food allergies, some of which may have an effect with her receiving vaccines for travel. Also, please continue to pray for our Start-Up Costs Fund. We need a vehicle, airplane tickets, and some large items for our house. We have had a few people and churches give towards this fund. We are extremely grateful, as we are able to pay for the shipping of personal items and all the costs for passports, visas, and vaccines. Thank you for your continued prayers and support!
