Keith and Theresa Baker Prayer Letter: Backup Plan for Serving HaitiansI have had some difficulty finalizing our summer plans. The chaos in Haiti has not abated this year. Kidnappings and other crimes against humanity have increased over 2021.

During our weekly soul winning, Theresa and I continue to witness in the Ft. Meyers area, and there are Haitians in many of the neighborhoods where we canvass. Since our last letter, we have knocked on 792 doors.

May 28 – June 9, we will be looking at the Haitian population on the island of St. Lucia and examining the spiritual need there. June 11 – 22, we will be looking at Abaco in the Bahamas to investigate if we can assist the Haitian refugees settled there. Lastly, we plan to return to Haiti in July for ten days to probe how problematical matters are in the St. Raphael area. During that time, we will meet with our Haitian pastors and educators to appraise our various ministries.

Our strategy with the trips to St. Lucia and the Bahamas is to have a backup plan for serving the most Haitians if our more permanent return to Haiti continues to be forfeited.

Theresa’s therapy/treatment on her knees will be finished the end of June. Thank you very much for your faithful financial support and prayers.

Respectfully,

Keith and Theresa Baker
