Please read the update from Bro. John Worawech Pariwat below our letter.

Eddie and Sindy Arold Prayer Letter: A New Church PlantIt was 14½ years ago that our family joined Team Thailand, sent out of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. Dr. Mark Bosje led us as we started First Baptist Church Nawong. One of the converts, reached by Jim and Viki Boyce (who, by the way, everyone they visit turns to gold—example: Noina) was Bro. John Worawech Pariwat. He has been our translator for many years, and I have personally seen the struggle back and forth between flesh and Spirit to serve or not to serve God.

A few months ago, the Holy Spirit called Bro. Pariwat to Mae Sai, which is near the Burmese border. He is doing a terrific job. I trust you will join me in praying for him, and if you could help with some initial startup costs for chairs, that would be a blessing. Chairs are $7.00 each, and he needs about 20. We help him every month with a salary, but he could use a little boost for startup costs.

May God bless you. I have attached his update.

Thank you so much!

Eddie and Sindy Arold Prayer Letter: A New Church PlantHappy Christmas Month of December! This month I have been blessed with great opportunities to see many souls saved because of our Christmas soulwinning program together with my sending church in Bangkok, as well as our special visitors from Calvary Baptist Church of Platteville, Wisconsin, USA, and also our mission trip to a Karen ethnic group village at the border between Thailand and Myanmar in Mae Hong Son Province.

This week I have a wonderful Christmas Sunday Service at Hill-Tribe Baptist Church of Chiang Rai at Mae Chan District with Pastor Worachai Phawakul, a local pastor who serve here faithfully in Chiang Rai Province for almost 20 years, and helping me greatly with advice and guideline since I relocated myself to live and serve here in Chiang Rai for almost 3 months. I am so very appreciated him, yet I still need to separate myself to start my own new church plant in Mae Sai City eventually.

After searching for a house for me to rent and build a new church plant, this week I finally officially got it. This house is just 100 meter far from border line of Myanmar in Tachileik City, and located in the middle of the largest Myanmar community in Mae Sai City in Thailand. Sunday service church will start here very soon, please continue to pray for my ministry here at Golden Triangle!
