Brian Hebert Prayer Letter: April Showers of BlessingThank you all so much for your faithful prayers and support. Finishing up April marked a significant milestone for us; in that, once we made it home to North Carolina, we were essentially done traveling across the country to raise our support. It’s now time for us to begin packing and making plans to move to Canada! Most of the meetings we have left in our deputation are in-state. For a few select meetings, we will fly to attend. We have enough support coming in that we can actually start making plans to move up North. This is huge, and y’all are the reason it is possible. You minded the Lord, listened to His voice, and obeyed the command to reach the world. Thank you. Though we’re not technically done yet, I want to make sure to thank you because, up to this point, we weren’t able to do anything more than dream to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

April started out with us in Topeka, Kansas, where we presented at Heritage Baptist Church. It was such a pleasure getting to know Pastor Stockburger and his family. They have a big heart for reaching Topeka. Pastor Stockburger is from Louisiana like I am, so we had a great time reminiscing about our growing-up years. After this meeting, we stayed in North Carolina with meetings not very far from our home base. Our next meeting was in Germantown, North Carolina, at Shining Light Baptist Church. Pastor Cook and his church family were such a blessing to meet. I was so encouraged to hear that they are planting a church in the next town over from them. What started out as a tent revival meeting blossomed into saved people who wanted to start gathering as a church. Pray for this endeavor. The following Sunday we were in Mebane, North Carolina, at Eastside Baptist Church. Pastor Perkins allowed me to preach and present that night. This was among the friendliest churches we’ve met while traveling. We also very much enjoyed getting to fellowship with him and his family. Not long after our meeting there, Pastor Perkins contacted me to say that the church had voted to take us on as their missionaries! We then headed to Apex, North Carolina, to present the ministry at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church. Pastor Utley and his church family were such a blessing to us. Lastly, we headed over to Trinity, North Carolina, to present the work at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church. We were so honored to be at this fine church that still has a heart for the Bus Ministry. I love to give my testimony and tell bus kids that I, too, rode to church on the church bus in order to encourage them to pray and dream higher about their service to God.

We’ve begun packing, applying for visas, looking for an apartment, and many other things we need to do before leaving, hopefully, in August. Please continue to pray for us that we’ll have wisdom to know how best to do all these necessary things. We still have some meetings left to finish, so please pray that God’s will would be done regarding raising the rest of the support we need. God bless you all.

Pressing toward the mark,

Brian Hebert
