Annabel de Vallejo Children's Home Prayer Letter: Thank You for Your Continued Support!I want to thank you for being such a blessing to the children’s home. We are very blessed to see what the Lord is doing. The Annabel Home is continuing because of your prayers and donations. My husband Romel and I are very grateful. We know that without the Lord’s help, we would not be able to continue this amazing ministry. I am also grateful for the staff that the Lord has given me; without them, the Annabel Home would not continue to be. The Lord has provided hard workers, for which we are very blessed.

I want to mention one important note. Many of you are wanting to know about sending items or clothing to the home. Unfortunately, at this time we cannot take things to Mexico, but you can donate money-wise. If you do decide to donate, please specify and let us know. I also know that some of you were sponsoring a child. We want to thank you for this grand act, but unfortunately, we are no longer doing the sponsoring. You can give a special offering for an outing or a special event or even one of the needs that is mentioned below in this letter. Also, we have canceled all Texas addresses, just in case your support or any other mail has been sent back to you. Thank you for being such a blessing. God bless you.

Now a word from our house parents, Juan Manuel and Betty Gomez

Hello, my name is Betty, and my husband’s name is Juan Manuel Gomez. We oversee the children of the Annabel de Vallejo Home, and it has been a blessing to us. On behalf of all the children and workers, we just want to say thank you. Thank you for being a blessing to us. We are very grateful to God for your lives and your being a part of this ministry.

This December was very different, but at the same time, we were very blessed. Many people, even government workers, gave the children’s home Christmas parties. The children broke piñatas, received many gifts, and played games. Our guests played with the children, and they had such a good time. The special part of this Christmas, though, was that God allowed us to share the Gospel with the guests who arrived.

Many children have rejoined their relatives, which gives us a lot of joy. All those who have already left call us to greet us and thank us for the great blessing that the Annabel de Vallejo Home was in their lives. We are always encouraging them to seek the Lord and also praying to reach their families one day.

We thank God for letting us receive many new children. This January 2023, we received 4 new children—3 boys and 1 girl: Robert, Alfredo, Rafita, and Teresita. We have 15 kids total—7 girls and 8 boys. The oldest is Liz, who is 16 years old, and the youngest is Rosita; she is just 6 months old. We are thankful that we will be receiving some more younger children in February. My husband and I are very happy to be able to have a part in the lives of these children.

We would like to share with you some prayer requests and needs. We are in desperate need of an industrial washing machine, a dryer, and a commercial refrigerator; and we need repairs done on our mini-bus. In total, we need $6,500.00. Lastly, we are also needing some cribs and single beds since we are receiving mostly younger children.

My husband and I, the children, and the workers of the Annabel de Vallejo Home want to say thank you for your support and prayers. May God continue to bless you and your family.

Sincerely,

Annabel de Vallejo Home
