Angel Lopez Prayer Letter: On the Job Because of Your Support“Peace I leave with you . . . .” (John 14:27)

I and my people are grateful to God for His goodness to us and for your continued faithful support all through this year. We are still on the job here in Guatemala because of your faithful support. As always at the year’s end, we want to wish all of our prayer partners and supporters a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.

CRISTO REY

We have been working all this year on building new rooms to house visiting preachers from abroad. The work on the project has stalled due to lack of funds. Please pray for this need.

Last month our church Youth Program, which has been dormant for the past two years, has started up again. We are seeing a steady attendance of young people in these meetings! Glory to God!

SANTA CATARINA PINULA

Our Baptist mission in the town of Santa Catarina Pinula is going strong. We are hoping for a smooth official turnover at year’s end. Please pray for the mission leader, William Madrid, and for his family and for the membership there.

SAN JOSE PINULA

I am gearing up our soul winners here for a stronger push in the town of San Jose Pinula in these final months. Please pray for the efforts in San Jose Pinula. Pray that God will give us a place to hold meetings and that we will see fruit that remains.

SPECIAL NOTE

I am also grateful to God that my daughter Tabitha Daniela got engaged to Stephen Fruit last month. I will be losing my secretary. That responsibility will be handed down to my youngest daughter Ruth, and Ruth has no computer. Please pray that my Lord will supply that need.

FINAL NOTE

Please send no mail to us in Guatemala. We have no mail service in our country. The government took the service away.

Thank you and God bless you all for your friendship, your prayers, and your support.

Sincerely,

Angel Lopez
