With gladness and gratitude to our God and to our supporters and prayer partners, we send out this latest report with some important prayer requests.
After eight months of intense, hands-on involvement there, we are glad to report that the new work in El Jocotillo, Villa Canales, Guatemala, has now become fully independent from us. Pastor Antonio Perez thanked us for helping them with our resources, advice, guidance, training, soul winning, teaching, and preaching, both on and off the church platform. The result is that they are presently seeing a sustained attendance of 50 to 60 people every week. We are still going ahead with plans for the Bible institute in Cristo Rey.
The time and resources that we spent in El Jocotillo will now be invested in our work in San Jose Pinula. That work is doing well, but it has a tremendous potential for growth. God willing, around the middle of this year, we expect to bring in a team of 20 or more soul winners from a church in Mexico to invade San Jose Pinula, Guatemala, with the Gospel and to begin holding meetings at the new site in or near the town limits. You are invited to come and join us in this effort. We offer lodging and food. Call or write to let us know if you are coming please.
Last week, we found a possible new site there, for which we will need some $20,000.00 for the property. Please pray! If God provides the money, we will build a sheet-metal structure for the meetings there, which, as God prospers, will become an independent Baptist church in the near future.
We report that our home-base church here in Cristo Rey is now growing in attendance. PRAISE GOD! Please pray for new families to be added in Cristo Rey. Please pray for the money for the property in San Jose Pinula, Guatemala. Thank you for your prayers and support.

Con alegría y gratitud a nuestro Dios y a nuestros amigos de oración, enviamos este informe con algunas peticiones importantes.
Después de ocho meses de intensa participación práctica, nos complace informarles que el trabajo en El Jocotillo, Villa Canales, Guatemala, se ha convertido completamente independiente de nosotros. El pastor Antonio Perez nos agradeció por ayudarlos con nuestros recursos, consejos, orientación, capacitación, ganar almas, enseñar y predicar fuera y dentro de la iglesia. El resultado es que actualmente se están reuniendo de 50 a 60 personas cada semana. Seguimos adelante con los planes del Instituto Bíblico en Cristo Rey.
El tiempo y los recursos que invertimos en El Jocotillo serán ahora destinados a nuestro trabajo de San José Pinula, Guatemala. Ese trabajo va bien.
San José Pinula tiene un tremendo potencial de crecimiento. Si Dios nos permite, a mediados de este año esperamos tener un grupo de unos 20 o más ganadores de almasde una iglesia de México para invadir San Jose Pinula con el Evangelio y comenzar a tener reuniones en un nuevo sitio dentro o cerca de los límites del municipio. Usted está invitado a venir y unirse a nosotros en este esfuerzo de evangelización. Por favor avíseme si viene a ayudarnos, le ofrecemos hospedaje y alimentación: puede llamarme o escribirme por favor. La semana pasada, encontramos un posible sitio para el cual necesitamos $20,000.00 para comprar la propiedad. Por favor ore por esta petición. Si Dios provee el dinero construiremos una galera de lamina para las reuniones que realizaremos. Esperamos que esta iglesia bautista se convierta en iglesia bautista independiente, en un futuro cercano.
