As we send out this prayer letter, we thank and praise the Lord our God for His goodness to us through Christ Jesus, and we continue in our work to spread the Gospel here in Guatemala. Our people are fresh back from a fundamental Bible conference in San Lucas Sacatepéquez, Guatemala, and everybody is encouraged now to face the challenges ahead.
Last year, we found it necessary to place the Public School Ministry on hold. We are glad for what we were able to accomplish in the time we were there.
At the time of this writing, we are actively involved at three different sites: Cristo Rey, San Jose Pinula, and Las Margaritas, Santa Rosa. The work in Cristo Rey is doing quite well, thank God. The work in San Jose Pinula continues strong but lacks a permanent meeting place. The work in Las Margaritas has a steady attendance but is struggling due to purely human circumstances, which we are confident God will overcome in His time. San Jose Pinula has great potential for growth, and we are praying that God will provide money to get property in that town. Please help us to pray for this!
We have been praying for a 4-wheel-drive pickup truck, and God answered our prayer! To those of you who gave to make that request a reality, may God multiply your gift, and may it bear fruit that abounds to your account.
On July 18, I will undergo an eye operation and will need a couple of weeks to recover from it. Please pray that it will go well! Thank you for your prayers!

Al enviar esta carta de oración, agradecemos y alabamos al Señor nuestro Dios por su bondad para con nosotros a través de Cristo Jesús, y continuamos en nuestro trabajo de difundir el evangelio aquí en Guatemala. Nuestros hermanos acaban de regresar de una conferencia bíblica fundamental en San Lucas SAC, Guatemala, y todos están animados ahora para enfrentar los retos que se vienen.
El año pasado nos vimos en la necesidad de quitar el ministerio de la escuela pública; estamos felices por lo que pudimos lograr en el tiempo que estuvimos allí.
En el momento de escribir esta esta carta estamos trabajando en tres sitios diferentes: Cristo Rey, San José Pinula, y Las Margaritas, Santa Rosa. El trabajo en Cristo Rey va bastante bien, gracias a Dios; el trabajo en San José Pinula continúa fuerte, pero falta un lugar de reunión permanente; el trabajo en Las Margaritas tiene una asistencia constante, pero está luchando debido a circunstancias puramente humanas, confiamos en Dios superar estos contratiempos en su debido tiempo. San Jose Pinula tiene un gran potencial de crecimiento, y estamos orando para que Dios provea dinero para conseguir una propiedad en ese pueblo. ¡Por favor ayúdenos a orar por esto!
Hemos estado orando por un pickup 4×4, ¡y Dios contestó nuestra oración! A aquellos de ustedes que dieron para hacer esa petición una realidad, que Dios multiplique su regalo, y que dé fruto que abunde a su cuenta.
El 18 de julio me operarán del ojo, y necesitaré un par de semanas para recuperarme. Por favor, oren para que salga bien. Gracias por sus oraciones.
