Missionary #6703 Prayer Letter: India's ElectionIn our last few prayer letters, we had asked you to pray for the upcoming election in India. This election was held May 7-12. Thank you to all who diligently prayed. We are very confident that the will of God was accomplished in this matter.

On May 16, Narendra Damodar Modi was sworn in as India’s new Prime Minister. Though we had prayed that this would not be the case, we were also quite mindful that God might have had other plans.

In our eyes, what might seem like a defeat may be one of the greatest victories in the history of India. The Words of God declared of Pharaoh in Exodus 9:16, “And in very deed for this cause have I raised thee up, for to shew in thee my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.” Pharaoh was being used by God to accomplish His purpose. Please pray that this might draw many Indians to the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank you so much for your love and faithful support. We certainly appreciate you!

Prayer Needs

Things did not go as we had hoped with our United States immigration petition. Thank you so much for praying. We believe God’s hand has been displayed.

We are currently making preparations to leave the United States, returning to Jamaica by the end of July. From there, we plan to work on our immigration paperwork for India. We then plan to leave Jamaica for India as soon as we have the “thumbs up” with Immigration.

Please Pray That:

• The Indian immigration process will be a relatively simple and quick one.
• We might be able to locate some missing documented proof of our heritage. These documents would help us to get very favorable immigration status for India.

Other Needs:

• Narendra Modi (India’s Prime Minister)
• Support level to reach 100%
• Inexpensive airline tickets
• Low shipping expenses
