I wish that the grace of our God abounds in your lives and ministry. Since our last letter, we have been extremely busy trying to activate the work of the Lord after the country has returned to normal since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Several pastors and churches were calling me, asking and encouraging our church to have our annual Missions Conference for pastors, missionaries, and workers of the local church. Thanks to the Lord, we have been able to influence many churches throughout the island so that more pastors and churches would get involved in supporting missionary work. The Lord worked greatly in the conference; many attended. During the invitation, some committed themselves to start having Missions Conferences in their churches to obtain more financial resources to invest in the spread of the Gospel.
The spiritual need in the Dominican Republic is big. I have been preaching in several Dominican and Haitian churches. I have had to decline several invitations from churches to avoid neglecting ours. The churches are in need of training in how to win souls and how to organize programs to support and promote missions, etc. I would like to do more to help them. It’s like our Lord said,“. . . The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few.”
We urgently need your prayers for our safety. Crime and delinquency have increased in the capital, Santo Domingo, at unprecedented levels. Lately, there have been many assaults, vandalism to cars, extreme violence, etc. All this is affecting the evangelistic work, since many are afraid to open their doors or talk to strangers in the streets for fear of being robbed. In the months of April and May, we were twice violently expelled from buildings because of the fear that we were not true believers, and we were not allowed to share the Gospel. We understand that four brothers from our congregation have been robbed, two of them right in front of our church building. Due to the danger of the city, I have had to provide transportation for the ladies who do not have their own vehicle so that they can continue attending church.
Despite these difficulties, we continue forward, having fruits of salvation. Last month, we gained a family of five people; they have been faithfully attending church. Thirty-four others have been saved, and several have been baptized. Glory to God!

Les deseo que la gracia de nuestro Dios, abunde sobre sus vidas y ministerio. Desde nuestra última carta hemos estado extremadamente ocupados tratando de activar la obra del Señor, después que el país ha vuelto a la normalidad por la pandemia del COVID-19.
Varios Pastores e iglesias estuvieron llamando preguntando y animándonos para que tuviéramos nuestra Conferencia Anual de Misiones para Pastores, Misioneros y Obreros de la iglesia local, gracias al Señor hemos podido influenciar la obra del Señor, en toda isla para que los Pastores e iglesias se involucren sosteniendo la obra misionera. El Señor obro grandemente en la conferencia y muchos asistieron, comprometiéndose algunos en empezar conferencia de misiones en sus iglesias, para obtener más recursos financieros e invertir en la propagación del evangelio.
En verdad la necesidad espiritual es grande en la República Dominicana, este año he estado predicando en varias iglesias Dominicanas y Haitianas, he tenido que rechazar varias invitaciones de iglesias para no descuidar la nuestra, las iglesias están necesitando entrenamiento en cómo ganar almas, y en cómo organizar programas para sustentar y promover las misiones etc. me gustaría hacer mas y ayudar a las iglesias es como dijo nuestro Señor, “A la verdad la mies es mucha, mas los obreros pocos.”
Necesitamos urgentemente sus oraciones por nuestra seguridad, la criminalidad y la delincuencia a subido en la capital (Santo Domingo), en niveles sin precedentes, últimamente hay muchos asaltos, vandalismo a los carros, violencias extrema, etc., etc. Todo eso está afectando el trabajo evangelistico, ya que muchos temen abrir sus puertas o hablar en las calles con extraños por miedo a ser asaltados, dos veces en los meses de Abril y Mayo, hemos sido expulsados con violencia de edificios por temor a que no fuéramos creyentes verdaderos, nosotros entendemos su temor ya que cuatro hermanos de nuestra congregación han sido atracados, dos de ellos al frente de la iglesia. He tenido que proveer transporte a las Hermanas que no tienen vehículo por el peligro de la ciudad, para que sigan asistiendo a la iglesia.
A pesar de eso seguimos adelante teniendo frutos de salvación, ganamos una familia de cinco personas en Mayo, y las últimas semanas han estado fielmente en la iglesia, otras 34 han sido salvos y varios han sido bautizados. Gloria a Dios!
