We are pleased to communicate with you again to let you know what the Lord is doing through our ministry (Acts 14:24-28). By the grace of our great God, during the first two months of the year, we have seen a great number of people come to the knowledge of the Gospel. The great thing about this has been that many of them have been attending faithfully. Every week, we would see people saved when we went out soul winning, but it was really hard to bring them to church. This year has been the opposite. We have seen the Lord work greatly. More than 25 new believers have visited us for the first time. We are giving a meticulous follow-up to achieve their growth and firmness in the faith. I ask for your prayers in this regard. Glory to God!!
A detail this year that, so far, we have seen as never before is the large number of foreigners who have come to live in Santo Domingo. There is a large flow of Venezuelans, Cubans, Colombians, etc. Sometimes they call the church office looking for all kinds of help, such as counseling, work, and economic help. This, of course, has opened the door for me to talk to them about the Lord and bring them to our services. Such is the case of Emmanuel, who is from Venezuela. We were able to help him, and he is now attending our church. I thank the Lord for allowing us to be a blessing to these people because my wife and I are also children of immigrants, so we have a lot of empathy towards them. It helps us to present the Lord as the hope of glory. My father immigrated to the United States in 1964 when I was only two years old.
The Lord has also been opening doors for me to preach in different places on the island. Please pray that the Lord would protect us on the highways. The Dominican Republic is like most countries of Latin America, where more people die due to traffic accidents. We need your prayers in this regard.
Another reason for prayer is the issue of crime. The government has had to prohibit the circulation of motorcycles from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. due to the magnitude of assaults throughout the capital. This is affecting the churches. Some brethren are afraid to go soul winning, and several churches have opted to have only one service on Sundays. Please pray for us, because in spite of this reality, we continue working normally, without canceling any of the activities in our work plan.

1. Please pray for our annual Missions Conference.
2. Please pray for our physical and spiritual health.
3. Please pray for the new believers, for their steadfastness in the faith.
4. Please pray for our safety on the highways.

Nos place comunicarme de Nuevo con ustedes para hacerles participes de lo que el Señor está haciendo por medio de nuestro ministerio (Hechos 14:24-28).
Por la gracia de nuestro gran Dios, los primeros dos meses del año hemos visto un gran número de personas venir al conocimiento del evangelio, lo grandioso de esto ha sido que muchos de ellos han estado congregándose fielmente. Todas las semanas vemos gentes salvos, cuando salimos a ganar almas, pero es realmente trabajoso lograr que vengan a la iglesia, este año ha sido lo opuesto, hemos visto al Señor obrar grandemente; mas de 25 nuevos creyentes nos han visitado por primera vez, estamos dando un seguimiento minucioso para lograr su crecimiento y firmeza en la fe. Le ruego su oración al respecto. Gloria a Dios!!!!
Un detalle que en lo que va de año hemos visto como nunca es el gran número de extranjeros, que se han venido a vivir a Santo Domingo, hay un gran flujo de; Venezolanos, Cubanos, Colombianos, etc. A veces llaman a la oficina de la iglesia buscando todo tipo de ayuda como: consejería, trabajo, ayuda económica, etc. esto por supuesto me ha abierto la puerta para hablarles del Señor, y traerlos a nuestros servicios, como el caso de Emmanuel, de Venezuela, quien ayudamos y ahora está asistiendo a nuestra iglesia. Doy gracias al Señor, por poder ser de bendición pues mi esposa y yo somos también hijos de inmigrantes, por eso tenemos mucha empatía hacia ellos y nos ayuda a presentarle al Señor como la esperanza de Gloria. Mi padre emigro a los Estados Unidos en el año 1964, cuando yo tenía 2 años de edad.
El Señor también ha estado abriendo puertas para predicar en diferentes lugares de la Isla, favor de orar por nosotros por la protección del Señor en las carreteras, la Republica Dominicana es el país de toda latino-América, donde más personas mueren debido a accidentes de tráfico. Necesitamos sus oraciones al respecto.
Otro motivo de oración es el tema de la delincuencia, el gobierno ha tenido que prohibir la circulación de motos desde las 10:00 pm hasta las 5:00 am debido a la magnitud de asaltos en toda la capital. Esto está afectando las iglesias, algunos hermanos tienen temor de ir a ganar almas, y varias iglesias han optado por tener un solo servicio los domingos. Favor de orar por nosotros, pues a pesar de esta realidad seguimos trabajando normal sin cancelar ninguna de nuestras actividades en nuestro plan de trabajo.

3. Por los nuevos creyentes, su firmeza en la fe
4. Por seguridad en las carreteras
