I am writing to you once again to express my fraternal love. Thanks be to the Lord for each one of you who, for almost 20 years, have been praying for us. Your prayers and participation in our ministry have helped us to stay on the field, serving the Lord with joy in the midst of adversity.
We thank God for His protection. Every year in the Caribbean, we have to face the hurricane season. Last month we were almost hit by two hurricanes; but, praise the Lord, at the last minute, the unexpected happened. Miraculously, both of them changed their course; we only had a lot of rain and severe winds.
The brothers are firm in the faith, always serving in the church, and winning the lost with the Gospel. We are currently preparing the church for the Youth Conference, which will be held next month. There is a new group of young people here in Santo Domingo who need to grow and consecrate themselves to the Lord. There are many attractions and temptations that the young people have to fight to stay in the faith. Please pray for this conference. Pray that God will bring revival and call youth to surrender to the ministry full-time.
I would like to praise our wonderful Saviour for what He has done during these past few months through the evangelistic work of the church. During the months of June, July, and August, we have been winning souls in the INVI. This is one of the most Catholic areas of the capital. In spite of this and to my surprise, the Lord has given us grace in the community, and many of them have accepted the Gospel. We have begun a bus route in this place. Several have been attending church, and one was baptized from those who have been saved. Glory to God for that! Brother Angel Montilla is in charge of this new ministry. Please pray for him not to be discouraged and that the Holy Spirit would produce in him patience and perseverance with these new converts.
My wife and I are grateful to all those who constantly pray for her health. The heat of the summer affects her a lot due to her multiple sclerosis condition. But the Lord has given her grace, and in spite of it, she has been actively serving God in every church service.
Again, thank you with all my heart for your great concern for the work of our beloved Lord and for remembering us always in prayers and finances so missionaries like us could be around the world serving our precious Saviour.

Le escribo una vez más para comunicarles mi amor fraterno. Gracias al Señor por cada uno de ustedes, los cuales por casi veinte años, han estado orando por nosotros, sus oraciones y su participación en nuestro ministerio nos han sostenido con gozo sirviendo al Señor en medio de las adversidades.
Todos los años aquí en el caribe, tenemos que enfrentar la temporada de huracanes, durante el mes agosto dos de ellos por poco atraviesan la capital, milagrosamente unas millas antes de alcanzar nuestras costas cambiaron su ruta. En verdad muchos vimos la poderosa mano de Dios en esto.
Los hermanos están firmes en la fe, siempre sirviendo al Señor, y ganando a los perdidos con el evangelio. Actualmente estamos preparándonos para la Conferencia de Jóvenes, la cual será el mes próximo, hay un grupo nuevo de jóvenes, quienes necesitan afirmarse y consagrarse al Señor, aquí en Santo Domingo, hay muchas atracciones y tentaciones los cuales los jóvenes tienen que vencer para permanecer en la fe, favor de orar por esta conferencia para que Dios traiga avivamiento y jóvenes se rindan al ministerio tiempo completo.
Quiero alabar al Señor por lo que Él ha hecho durante estos últimos meses a través del trabajo evangelistico de la iglesia. Durante los meses de Junio, Julio y Agosto, hemos estado ganando almas en el INVI, este es uno de los barrios más católicos de la capital, a pesar de eso para mi sorpresa el Señor nos ha dado gracia en la comunidad y muchos de ellos han aceptado el evangelio. Empezamos una ruta en ese lugar y ya hemos tenido un bautismo y muchos visitantes de los que han sido salvos. Gloria a Dios por eso. El Hno. Ángel Montilla está a cargo de este nuevo ministerio, favor de orar por él, para que no se desanime y que el Espíritu produzca en el paciencia y perseverancia con los nuevos creyentes.
Mi esposa y yo agradecemos a todos los que constantemente oran por su salud, el calor del verano aquí en el Caribe le afecta mucho con su problema de Esclerosis Múltiple, pero el Señor le ha dado fuerzas; y se ha mantenido muy activa en el servicio de la obra del Señor.
De nuevo gracias de todo corazón, por su entrega a la obra de nuestro amado Señor al recordarnos siempre en sus oraciones y con sus ofrendas misioneras, para que siervos del Señor como nosotros estemos esparcidos en el mundo anunciando el evangelio.
