I pray that this letter finds you all well, and I trust that God has been blessing your church, as He has been blessing me during these last few months. Thank you for your continued prayers and for your support. I apologize for the delay in updating you all about the progress of my deputation, but I would like to let you know about what’s been going on and give you an update on my plans for these next few months.
God has been good. He has allowed me to present my burden for Mexico in more churches, as well as given me the opportunity to preach. I truly am humbled every time a pastor allows me to occupy his pulpit. It seems that this year has been flying by and going in slow motion at the same time. In this month of May, I have two more churches that I am scheduled to visit before I leave for Mexico.
Lord willing, I will be leaving on June 7 to move to Mexico. As most of you know, I will be getting married this summer. My fiancé Karen has been patiently waiting for me in Mexico. I’m looking forward to being reunited with her for the first time since January. Also, I want to get there as soon as possible to get everything set in place for our wedding on July 2, 2021.
Our plans are to begin working there at Karen’s church, alongside Pastor Lima. We look forward to seeing how God will use us together as husband and wife. Our prayer is that God would use us to be a blessing to those whom we serve and that God would use us to reach the Hispanic people on your behalf. Lord willing, we will be returning to the States in the fall in order to continue our deputation.
Prayer Requests
1. Please pray that God would bless our marriage and that He would use us to reach the lost for Christ.
2. Please pray that Karen will be able to get her visa as soon as possible so that we can continue our deputation together and then return to Mexico more permanently.
