PRAISE“Then Samuel took a stone, and set it between Mizpeh and Shen, and called the name of it Eben-ezer, saying, Hitherto hath the LORD helped us.” (I Samuel 7:12) The Lord has been more than good to my family and me, and I can truly testify that He has been good to us for this 31-year blessed experience, which we have very much enjoyed serving Him alongside FBMI. Ebenezer! He has given us the strength and power to faithfully serve the one true God. Amen. All praise be to Jesus our Saviour! He has empowered us to start three churches and to see many souls saved and baptized (two churches in Puerto Rico and one church in the Dominican Republic).
I would like to communicate my retirement from FBMI, starting sometime in September 2025. Until then, we will continue to serve our risen and all-powerful Saviour in whatever capacity He desires for us. I am retiring at this time because of the massive stroke I suffered about three years ago, which has really affected my memory, and because of other medical issues.
PRAYER
May I encourage you to continue to pray for us as we take care of final preparations for our move and our future retirement life? Your prayers for us over these 31 years of mission work have been of great encouragement to us in our labor for Jesus.
GRATITUDE
There is so much for which to be grateful. I am grateful for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus, and for my wife Angela and our five children, who all labored with me in all of our churches! I had the great blessing in our first church in Puerto Rico to baptize both of my parents and our four children at that time. In the Dominican Republic, I had the privilege to baptize Elisabeth, our fifth child. It doesn’t get any better than that!
Thank you, FBMI staff, past and present, who are just great servants of the Lord—all with a servant’s heart! Think upon how many souls will be in Heaven because of your tireless service to our great Saviour Jesus! Ebenezer! An extra big thank you to all of our supporting churches over the past 31 years! Reflect upon all of the precious souls that will be in Heaven because of your faithful financial support of our ministry and other soul-winning missionaries. Thank you for faithfully praying for us!
May God continue to greatly bless you. Thank you for partnering with us to obey the Great Commission!
