LATEST
God has been good, and the work in the Philippines continues. Recently, the church had a Youth Camp, with over 150 campers. We were able to bring over 20 young people from our group, 3 of whom were first-time campers. They had a great week of games and activities, combined with great preaching. The preaching of the Word of God will not come back void. I believe these Youth Camps are a way for the young people to see God’s plan for their lives.
Please pray as we give the Gospel to the university students at Benguet State University. This university is just across the street from our church. Every year, they have over 2,000 new students. We are constantly trying to find ways to reach these students and get them in church. Many of them do not have time for church because of college classes scheduled on Sundays. We have soul winners who go to the campus every week and give the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to the students. Please pray that God would give us wisdom on how to properly win and disciple them into church.
We celebrated Mother’s Day Sunday with over 15 mothers who came to our services. During the preaching, the Gospel was given, and one visitor called on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation that Sunday. Praise the Lord!
Please pray for the safety of the Dapyawen family. This family has answered the call to go to the mission field of Mongolia. Pastor Orlando and his wife Hannah both graduated from our Bible college. Orlando has pastored the second church since we started it almost 15 years ago. They are now on deputation in the Philippines, raising support from Philippine churches to go to the place that God has called them. Pray for their safety as they travel with three young children and for them to raise much-needed support as they head to the mission field.
