SERVING THE BUS MINISTRY
PRAYER LETTERS
LATEST
Thank you so much for your prayers and support in the recent engine issue with our truck. In case you missed our last update about it, we officially blew the engine in our ministry truck. God allowed us to find another truck for a great price that fits our family better and, prayerfully, will run well for all the driving we do. When I went to get the new truck, God opened a door for me to lead someone to Christ. “. . . joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth . . . .” (Luke 15:7)
Michigan
We visited multiple churches and fixed 11 buses during our time in Michigan this month. When I was in Warren, Michigan, I was able to get a bus back on the road that had not moved for two-plus years.
I was able to preach, teach the bus kids, and teach a Sunday school class. Lauretta had the opportunity to sing special music a few times and help in the nursery. She also helped me with the bus kids. Our children enjoyed meeting some new friends and getting some time to play with them at the church gym.
Soul-Winning Efforts
I had a great opportunity to help 4 churches with their soul-winning efforts. I was able to see 6 people trust Christ as their Saviour and 28 new riders on the buses.
Tennessee
While back home for a while, I was able to help some of our local churches. One church has a brake line that has rusted out; please pray as we find the parts. Another church bus was having an electrical issue. The Lord used me to find the issue and get it fixed. It was a blessing to help our home church with a shifting issue and an air-conditioner issue. We thank the Lord for all of the help He has given us with working on all of the buses this past month.
