Fisa Mihy-Mihyndu Prayer Letter: Home-Based Bible Studies Producing Multiple Labourers
“And daily in the temple, and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ.” (Acts 5:42) God created several opportunities for us to serve Him.
SOUL WINNING
“Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.” (Acts 8:5) Our soul-winning efforts took us to a variety of places and homes. Hundreds of people heard the Gospel message, and over 116 souls trusted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour.
• Dieu-donné (5 years old), Dorah (9 years old), Jovani (12 years old), Isaac (14 years old), and Aaron (14 years old) trusted Jesus as Saviour at a home-based Bible study on June 10, 2025.
• Lydie, a poor widow struggling to care for her 10 children (Marie, Matthieu, Luc, Doudou, Nono, Yvan, Aaron, Micka, Darci, and Junior) after the loss of her husband, visited us on June 15, 2025. She lives in a different neighborhood at least 2 miles from the church site. After the morning service, she pulled up a chair, sat down, and heard a clear Gospel presentation. Soon, she realized she was not saved and decided to receive Jesus Christ by faith as her personal Saviour. Please pray for her and her 10 children as they struggle to survive.
• Sixteen precious souls in Ntoum trusted Christ as Saviour on June 19, 2025. God used 4 dear brothers and 2 sisters to lead these souls to trust Jesus and save their souls from Hell: Brother Mathurin, Brother Etienne, Brother Marty, Brother Parfait, Sister Elsa, and Sister Delphine.
BAPTISM
“Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.” (Acts 2:41) We will put a greater emphasis on baptism during the month of July. Please pray for a great turnout in following the Lord Jesus Christ through believer’s baptism on July 6, 13, 20, & 27.
DISCIPLESHIP
“For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.” (Matthew 13:12) We started, with God’s help, 6 home-based Bible studies around the church in an effort to win souls to Christ and disciple them. Several have already trusted Christ as Saviour, been Scripturally baptized, and are now coming to church regularly. Below are the names of the people who attend those weekly, home-based Bible studies:

These Bible studies are challenging several church workers to get out of their comfort zones, to learn, and to grow spiritually.
God enabled us to start a church-wide prayer chain for those five years old and up at the beginning of the year. The ultimate goal is to produce a praying church.
MINISTRY
“And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.” (Colossians 4:17) God blessed us in multiple ways.
• We started a work in Kango, a new city, about 3 hours away from Libreville. We overloaded a 32-seat bus with 40 people and a pickup with 9 people. We distributed more than 3,000 John and Romans and 3,000 Gospel tracts. We recorded multiple salvations and decisions for discipleship.
• We distributed 20,000 John and Romans, 20,000 Gospel tracts, and several Bibles.
• God gave us a core group of 30 weekly faithful workers and soul winners. Some go soul winning daily, get souls saved, and bring them to church.
• We had $32,000 pledged for the land. We have already spent $48,400 in rent from 2021 to 2025. We spend $1,100 each month. We have already spent 2/3 of the selling price in rent. Buying this property would be a great investment, as it would serve us well as a multipurpose soul-winning training station. Praise God for the labourers who are ready to win souls to Christ!
• To reach the entire country of Gabon with the Gospel, we need a 32-seat soul-winning bus, two 18-foot tents, 2 loud speakers, 2 megaphones, and multiple folding chairs; $14,000 was already raised for the soul-winning bus.
• If you have any medical appliances you do not use—such as stethoscopes, blood pressure cuffs, pulse oximeters, ultrasound machines, x-ray machines, ECG/EKG machines, ophthalmoscopes, otoscopes, reflex hammers, spirometers, etc.—please send them to us for outreach purposes.
We do thank you deeply for your continual prayers and support! Your labour of love is making a difference in the lives of so many people in Gabon. You are continually in our thoughts and prayers! May God bless you even more as you serve Him more faithfully!
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,
forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.”
(I Corinthians 15:58)
