May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ continue to be poured out in a special way upon your life, family, and ministry. Since our last letter, the Lord’s work has been very intense, both in our church and in other places throughout the country. All thanks goes to the Lord, Who gives us the strength and opportunity to be productive for His glory.

In April, we celebrated our Evangelistic Spring Program, “There Is Still Hope.” The name came out of the mood that was all over Santo Domingo due to the roof collapse at the Jet Set nightclub, where 238 people died and hundreds were injured. This place is only 5 minutes away from the church. We are all emotionally affected by the magnitude of this tragedy. The entire Dominican Republic is still in mourning. Famous baseball players, artists, and dozens of people valuable to God died in one of the greatest tragedies in the history of the nation.

At the end of the program, we had several people and families saved, such as Francis, Yamilet, Mainoby, Yowan, and Yino, who is one of the most famous disc jockeys in the capital. Yino is now faithfully attending church with his family—his wife, daughter, mother, and sister. We praise the Lord, because the real hope came to these people! Jesus is the hope of glory.

In the new church we started in the Port of Haina area, the Lord opened the door to preach the Gospel to the members of the community Basketball Club. At the end of the preaching, 32 young people prayed, calling on the Lord for salvation. Please help us pray for them to attend the Bible study we have there. The family of one of them is traveling to attend the Bible study and prayer service at the church on Wednesdays. The last time they attended, 5 of them came. Glory to the Lord!

Another evangelistic ministry we have done is the one in the parks near our church. We have been able to reach many with the Gospel.

Que la gracia del Señor Jesucristo, se siga derramando sobre su vida, familia y ministerio de una manera especial. Desde nuestra última carta el trabajo de la obra del Señor, ha sido muy intenso, tanto en nuestra iglesia, como en otros lugares en el país. Gracias al Señor, quien nos da la fuerza y la oportunidad de ser productivos para su gloria.

El mes de Abril, celebramos nuestro programa evangelistico de primavera, ¨Todavía hay esperanza¨ el nombre salió del estado de ánimo que estaba todo Santo Domingo, debido al derrumbe del techo de la discoteca Jet Set, donde murieron 238 personas, y cientos quedaron heridos, (este lugar de diversión, estaba a solo 5 minutos de la iglesia,) todos estamos emocionalmente afectados por la magnitud de esta gran tragedia. Toda Republica Dominicana esta aun de luto, famosos peloteros, artistas, y decenas de personas valiosas para Dios, murieron en una de las mayores tragedias en la historia de la nación.

Al final del programa tuvimos varias personas y familias salvas, como: Francis, Yamilet, Mainoby, Yowan, y Yino, quien es uno de los famosos disc-jockey de la capital, está asistiendo fielmente a la iglesia con su familia, su esposa e hija, su mama, y su hermana. Alabamos al Señor porque la esperanza real llego a estas personas, Jesús es la esperanza de gloria.

En la nueva iglesia que hemos empezado en el área del puerto de Haina, el Señor abrió la puerta para poderle predicar el evangelio, a los miembros del club de baloncesto de la comunidad, 32 jóvenes oraron al final de la predicación invocando al Señor para salvación. Por favor ayúdennos a orar para que asistan al Estudio Bíblico, que tenemos allí. La familia de uno de ellos está viajando los miércoles al servicio de estudio y oración a la iglesia, la ultima vez en asistir vinieron cinto de ellos, Gloria al Señor!

Otro ministerio evangelistico, que he dado seguimiento es el de los parques cerca de nuestra iglesia, hemos podido alcanzar a muchos con la palabra.

Agradecemos su fidelidad al darnos su gran apoyo espiritual, a través de sus oraciones y sus generosas ofrendas a favor de nuestro ministerio.

1. Orar por los nuevos creyentes.
2. Por los jóvenes salvos en el Club de baloncesto que asistan al Estudio Biblico.
3. El ministerio de los parques.
4. Los familiares de la tragedia de la discoteca Jet Set.
