Psalm 24:1-2 reminds us that everything belongs to God. Everything that I have has been put into my care by God, and I believe that I will give an account of the way that I manage the resources that I have been given. When it comes to our families, jobs, ministries, and time, I pray that we will all learn to use each of these things for the glory of God!
God has been very good to us during our time here in the States! So far, we’ve had the opportunity to visit 23 churches, both supporting and a few new ones, with whom we were able to share what God is doing in Nigeria! It’s been incredibly encouraging to be able to talk with pastors and church members and hear about how God is working in the U.S.! Some have been going through high points and some low in relation to their ministries, but through it all, they’ve testified that God is still working!
Over the last few years, we’ve been teaching our Bible college students the importance of making disciples of Christ. Over the last few weeks, I’ve heard from some of them about the people they are personally discipling and how God is working in their lives! I hope that you will consider how you can start discipling somebody today.
I’ve mentioned it many times, but one area that God has used us is in helping churches start institutes. During the first weekend of May, one of the nationals we work with helped one of our recent graduates start an institute at his church! These institutes are a wonderful way that local church pastors can continue to teach and train their people. In July, I’m thrilled to be able to go and conduct an institute graduation at one of the first institutes that we started back in 2022! Some of the institutes have struggled to make progress for various reasons, so please pray that God would continue to bless and work through these training tools!
On May 13, we have a visa appointment in Atlanta for Juliet. Please pray that it would go well and that we would have all of the necessary paperwork in hand and be able to go back to Nigeria on June 14.
I mentioned in our last letter about the $25,000 that we are raising to help build church buildings, specifically for churches that are reaching Muslims and helping converted Muslims to grow. So far, $4,635 has come in for this need, and another $10,000 was promised this month! Thank you!
Thank you for your continued prayers and support of our family! We know that it takes folks like you to send folks like us!
In His service,
Daniel, Erin, Ezekiel, Gianna, and Juliet Lang
