This spring marked 20 years since we started Highland Baptist Church. We took a month to celebrate the wonderful grace of Jesus.

We thank the Lord that Pastor and Mrs. McQueen came again to visit the Philippines. They were able to join us in some of our church anniversary services. We thank the Lord for Victory Baptist Church of South Boardman, Michigan, for allowing them to come. They were with us over 8 years ago, and it was a great privilege that they were able to see the 4 churches that we have started.

During one of our 20-year church anniversary services, God gave us over 50 first-time visitors. One week later, we celebrated 20 years of children’s neighborhood classes. We held 52 classes, with an average of 12 to 15 kids per class. We started at 8:00 in the morning and ended at 4:00 in the afternoon. It was tiring, but God gave the strength—and God gave the increase! By the end of the day, we had over 620 children who had attended, but the most important is that over 200 children called on the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. To God be the glory!

We thank the Lord for the continuing weekly home Bible studies. More and more souls are coming to know the Lord as their personal Saviour. As of now, we have 3 home Bible studies in different areas in our city. The purpose of these Bible studies is to invite our neighbors to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Recently, in one of our home Bible studies, 2 people received the gift of salvation. Please continue to pray that God will work in people’s hearts.

Our motorcycle outreach ministry is doing well. Some of the men in our church went about 5 hours away recently. Their goal was to witness to family members of one our church members. I was so blessed to hear that 7 people came to know the Lord because of this soul-winning ministry. Thank you for your prayers.
