Adam and Karen DePaolis Prayer Letter: Hitting the Ground Running
It’s hard to believe that springtime is already upon us. We have had a great time these past two months since our last letter. In our last newsletter, I mentioned our having gone to Mexico. Well, now that we have been back, we have hit the ground running. God has continued providing us with meetings, for which we are grateful. We have attended five Missions Conferences in the past two months, along with other meetings as well. Three voted to support us on the spot, one voted us in later, and the last, we are waiting to hear back from. Praise the Lord!
Probably my favorite thing that has happened during this time was the fact that I was ordained into the ministry. On March 23, I was ordained by my pastor, Mike Bailey, and Sylvania Hills Baptist Church. I definitely do not feel worthy of it, but I was thrilled to be able to have it happen at my home church where I grew up and by my pastor, who has known me since birth.
As always, I thank you for your continued support and your prayers, especially your prayers! Our part of fulfilling the Great Commission is impossible without you. I don’t know about you, but I believe that it is important many times that we be specific when we ask things of the Lord. The Bible says, “Ye have not because ye ask not.” Also, I believe that it is helpful for you all to be able to pray knowledgeably for us. With that being said, our prayer is two-fold. Firstly, we are praying that we can return to Mexico this coming fall 2025. Secondly, to do so, we need approximately 13 more churches to take us on for support. I know this is a bold statement, but that is what we are praying for. I believe it will all happen in God’s timing, and God’s timing is always perfect. We currently have 75% percent of our support promised, and we trust that the Lord will continue to provide it.
If you would, please pray with us about these few things and that God would give us grace and patience as we continue to follow His will. We love you all dearly and pray for you often. May God continue to bless you as much as He has blessed us.
